 Amen. To receive and acknowledge this gift of peace is a sacred trust. Here is a response, accepting and honoring that blessing.

I Receive Your Peace

I receive the peace You leave with me, Not as the world gives,temporarily, But as a settled,holy calm, A healing and a sovereign balm. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”(John 14:27)

I will not let my heart be troubled, Though the waves may roar and rise. I will not let fear win the battle, I'll trust the promise in Your eyes.

This peace will stand as sentry guard, Over my mind and over my heart. A constant,gentle, firm reminder, That in Your love,I take my part.

So I receive this gift so deep, A promise You will always keep. And I will,in Your strength, endeavor, To share this peace with others ever.

Thank you for Your peace. It is my portion and my stay.
