Protection from Creature of Night.

 Amen. This is a plea for safety from both tangible and spiritual dangers that thrive in darkness. Here is a prayer for protection, rooted in the authority of God's presence.

From Creatures of the Night

O Lord, my Protector, my Fortress, and Light, Guard me from terrors that come in the night. From creatures that prowl,from shadows that creep, You are my Vigil;You never sleep. “You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day.”(Psalm 91:5)

No pestilence, no evil, no plague, nor despair, No hidden danger can penetrate Your care. For You command Your angels concerning my way, To guard and protect me by night and by day. “For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”(Psalm 91:11)

The darkness is light to You—You see it all clear, No threat can approach me as long as You’re near. I speak the name Jesus—the name above all— At that name,every threat and every fear must fall. “And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.”(Colossians 2:15)

So whether the danger is seen or unseen, By the blood of the Lamb,I am safe, I am clean. I rest in Your promise,I trust in Your might, I am sheltered with You through the long,watchful night.

Cover this child, Lord, and this dwelling place, In the shadow of Your wings, filled with grace.
