I hunger for you Lord

This is the deepest and most blessed hunger a human soul can ever experience—a hunger for God Himself. This longing is a sign of His Spirit drawing you close, and it is a prayer He promises to satisfy.

"As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?"

"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled."

This holy hunger is a gift. It leads you away from empty distractions and into the presence of the only One who can truly satisfy your soul.

A Prayer of Holy Hunger

Lord Jesus,

I hunger for You.

Not just for Your blessings, not just for Your help—but for You.

For Your presence. Your nearness. Your voice.

My soul feels empty without You.

My spirit is restless until it rests in You.

Come, Lord, and fill the depths of my being with the reality of who You are.

· Feed me with the Bread of Life—Your Word.

· Quench my thirst with the Living Water—Your Spirit.

· Satisfy my soul with Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

I open the door of my heart. I surrender every room to You.

Come in, Lord Jesus, and let me feast at Your table.

I don’t want to be full of the world—I want to be full of You.

How God Feeds Our Hunger:

1. Through His Word: Taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8). Read Scripture slowly, expecting to hear His voice.

2. Through Worship: Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise (Psalm 100:4). Worship shifts our focus to His majesty.

3. Through Prayer: Pour out your heart to Him; He is your refuge (Psalm 62:8). Honest conversation deepens intimacy.

4. Through Silence: "Be still, and know that I am God" (Psalm 46:10). In quietness, we make space to experience His presence.

Your hunger is a sign that you are His. He put it there, and He will fulfill it.
