 Amen. May your rest be peaceful, protected, and filled with the presence of God. Here is a prayer for blessed sleep.

Bless My Sleep

Bless my sleep, O Lord, I pray, As daylight fades and ends the day. Grant to me Your gentle rest, And in Your peace,may I be blessed.

Guard my mind from anxious thought, With battles fearfully fought. Silence all the noise and strife, That would disturb this holy life. “In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”(Psalm 4:8)

Let Your angels watch and keep Their vigil while I am asleep. No terror of the night,no harm, Shall come to me or cause alarm. “He will not let your foot slip— he who watches over you will not slumber.”(Psalm 121:3)

Renew my body, soul, and mind, For all the tomorrows I will find. Let dreams be sweet,and rest be deep, In Your eternal arms I sleep.

And when the morning light shall break, For Your new mercies,may I awake.
