May your favor be upon my life.

Amen. This is a prayer that echoes the heart of Moses and the blessing of Aaron, seeking the tangible goodness and grace of God in one's daily journey. It is a desire for a life that is marked by His presence and purpose.

Here is a prayerful poem in response.

---

May Your Favor Be Upon My Life

Not for riches, not for fame, Not to make a greater name. Not for ease or comfort's sake, But for the path that You will make.

May Your favor be upon my life.

Let it be the morning sun, That says,"His will, on earth, be done." Let it be the gentle rain, On parched and weary fields of pain. “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;”(Numbers 6:24-25)

May Your favor guide my hand, To help a fallen fellowman. May it be the words I speak, To strengthen frail and humble meek.

In times of joy, in times of test, May Your favor grant me rest. Not as the world gives, shallow, brief, But as a deep and anchored leaf.

And if Your favor brings me pain, To prune a branch for greater grain, Then let me trust Your heart and hand, And in Your wiser purpose stand.

So let my life, a vessel be, That others might Your goodness see. Not pointing to my own small story, But to Your everlasting glory.

May Your favor be upon my life, A shield by day,a lamp by night. Until I see You face to face, And dwell forever in Your grace.
