Holy Spirit, thank you for carrying me.

Holy Spirit, Thank You for Carrying Me

A Reflection on Deuteronomy 1:31, Isaiah 46:4, and Romans 8:26

Holy Spirit, thank You for carrying me—when I had no strength to walk,

When my voice was lost in weeping, when my spirit could not talk.

You lifted me when I stumbled, You held me when I fell.

In the arms of Your compassion, You have made my heart to dwell.

The Lord your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went. (Deuteronomy 1:31)

You carried me through the wilderness of doubt and deep despair,

When the path was steep and rocky, when I could not find a prayer.

You whispered hope into my darkness, You breathed peace into my storm.

Your presence was my shelter, Your faithfulness my warm.

When my own strength failed completely, when I could not take a step,

You did not leave me stranded or in loneliness inept.

You carried me on wings like eagles, over valleys, over fears.

You caught every falling tear and turned them into holy cheers.

Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. (Isaiah 46:4)

Thank You for carrying me—not just once, but every day,

In the ordinary struggle and in the desperate fray.

You never grew weary of my weakness; You never turned away.

Your shoulders bore my burdens; Your light guided my way.

So now I rest in this great truth: I am never on my own.

The Spirit who carried me through the valley will lead me safely home.

Holy Spirit, thank You for carrying me—my Helper, my Friend,

My strength, my hope, my everything, until the very end.

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. (Romans 8:26)

Amen.

River of Living water flow into my health.

River of Living Water, Flow into My Health

A Reflection on John 7:38, Ezekiel 47:8-9, and Isaiah 53:5

River of living water, flow into my health—not just a trickle at the shore,

But a deep, renewing current that restores me evermore.

Let the stream that flows from the throne of God and the Lamb

Wash over every sickness, heal my body, and strengthen my frame.

Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. (John 7:38)

Flow into my bones, where weariness has taken hold.

Bring the marrow of heaven’s life, make my spirit bold.

Flow into my organs, my cells, my blood, my breath.

Let the water of life push out disease and overcome death.

Where the river flows, everything lives—this is Your promise sure.

It heals the Dead Sea’s barrenness, it makes the broken pure.

So I invite this living stream into my body’s every part.

Let it flush out pain, renew my strength, and heal my sickened heart.

He brought me back to the door of the temple, and behold, water was flowing... “This water flows toward the eastern region... and when it enters the sea, the water there becomes fresh. Wherever the river flows, everything will live.” (Ezekiel 47:8-9, paraphrased)

By Your stripes I am healed—this is the foundation stone.

Your wounds have purchased wholeness; I will not walk alone.

Now let the river of Your Spirit carry that healing grace

Deep into my body, filling every weak and weary space.

So I receive Your flowing life—not in part, but in full.

Let living water saturate me, spirit, soul, and body—whole.

River of living water, flow into my health today.

I drink from You, O Healer God. Wash all my pain away.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Amen.

River of Living water flow in my life.

River of Living Water, Flow in My Life

A Reflection on John 7:38-39, Ezekiel 47:1-9, and Revelation 22:1-2

River of living water, flow in my life—not a trickle, not a stream,

But a rushing, holy current, the fulfillment of a dream.

Spring up, O well, from the depths of my soul,

Let the waters of Your Spirit make my broken spirit whole.

Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them. (John 7:38)

Flow through the desert of my weariness, where hope has withered dry.

Bring the oasis of Your presence; let my spirit magnify

The grace that never runs dry, the mercy that will not cease.

Let Your river turn my barren ground into a garden of peace.

Flow through the wilderness of waiting, where the path is lost and long.

Be the stream that follows me, the current that makes me strong.

Not a trickle, not a drizzle, but a rushing, holy tide,

That carries every fear and failure far away from my inside.

He brought me back to the door of the temple, and behold, water was flowing from under the threshold. (Ezekiel 47:1)

Let the river deepen as I wade in further still—

From ankle‑deep to knee, to waist, until my own will

Is swallowed in the flood, and I can no longer stand,

But swim in the fullness of Your love, carried by Your hand.

Where the river flows, life abounds—trees of healing on the shore,

Every month they bear fresh fruit, and their leaves will evermore

Bring wholeness to the nations, restoration to the land.

River of living water, flow in me; I yield to Your command.

Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb. (Revelation 22:1)

Flow, living water. Flow, O Holy Spirit. Flow.

I open every gate. I let my barriers go.

River of living water, flow in me—make me a channel deep,

Where the thirsty find refreshment and the broken learn to leap.

Amen.

I submit in the name of Jesus.

I Submit in the Name of Jesus

A Declaration of Surrender from James 4:7, Romans 10:9, and Philippians 2:10-11

I submit in the name of Jesus—not in weakness or in fear,

But in the power of the One who conquered death and drew me near.

I bow my will, my heart, my plans, my every secret thought.

The name above all names has spoken, and my freedom has been bought.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)

In the name of Jesus, I lay down my pride,

Every selfish ambition, every place I used to hide.

I surrender my future, my family, my finances, my health.

The name of Jesus is my refuge, my immeasurable wealth.

I submit my mind—renew it with Your truth.

I submit my heart—restore the joy of my youth.

I submit my hands—let them serve and heal and bless.

I submit my feet—to walk in holiness.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)

The enemy must flee when I speak this mighty name.

Every chain of bondage shatters; every shadow flees in shame.

For at the name of Jesus, every knee must bow,

In heaven, on earth, under the earth—and I am making my vow

To live submitted, not defeated, not afraid,

Because the name of Jesus has my ransom fully paid.

So I submit—not to a tyrant, but to a King of love.

I lift my hands, I bow my head, I look to You above.

I submit in the name of Jesus—now and every day.

Your will be done. Your kingdom come. I trust You, Lord. I obey.

At the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth. (Philippians 2:10)

Amen.

Holy Ghost fire brighten my life.

Holy Ghost Fire, Brighten My Life

A Reflection on Acts 2:3, John 8:12, and Revelation 21:23

Holy Ghost fire, brighten my life—not to burn, but to shine,

Not to consume in judgment, but to make Your glory mine.

Like the flame that rested on the upper room’s waiting band,

Let Your fire bring light to every dark and barren land.

They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them. (Acts 2:3)

Brighten my mind—drive away confusion, doubt, and fear.

Let the Spirit’s holy radiance make Your truth so clear.

Where shadows of the past still linger, let Your fire ignite

A new day of understanding, turning darkness into light.

Brighten my heart—warm the cold, the weary place.

Let the flame of love and joy shine brightly from my face.

Where grief has dimmed my spirit, let Your fire begin to glow,

And the oil of gladness pour where sorrow used to flow.

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows Me will never walk in darkness.” (John 8:12)

Brighten my path—when the road ahead is steep,

When uncertainty and danger make me want to weep.

Let Your fire be a pillar, guiding through the night,

Turning every step I take into a radiant light.

For You are a consuming fire, yet also a gentle blaze.

You warm, You heal, You purify, You brighten all my days.

Holy Ghost fire, brighten my life—let me not be dim.

Shine through me, shine around me, till the world sees only Him.

The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. (Revelation 21:23)

Amen.

Jesus loves me.

 Jesus Loves Me

A Reflection on John 3:16, 1 John 4:19, and Romans 8:38-39

Jesus loves me—not because I'm good,

Not because I always understood.

He loves me when I fail and fall,

He loves me when I've lost my all.

We love because He first loved us. (1 John 4:19)

Jesus loves me—in the night,

When fears take flight and hope is slight.

His love is not a fair‑weather friend;

It holds me close, it will not end.

He proved His love on Calvary,

Where nails and spear set sinners free.

While I was still lost in my shame,

He called me by my name.

But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

So let the mountains crumble, let the oceans cease to roar.

The love of Jesus never fails—it's what my soul is for.

Jesus loves me—this I know,

For the Bible tells me so.

Little ones to Him belong;

They are weak, but He is strong.

Yes, Jesus loves me. Yes, Jesus loves me.

Yes, Jesus loves me—the Bible tells me so.

Amen.

Jesus protect me from evil.

 Jesus, Protect Me from Evil

A Reflection on Matthew 6:13, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, and Psalm 121:7

Jesus, protect me from evil—not from trials that make me strong,

But from the evil one who whispers lies and sings his siren song.

Guard my mind, my heart, my home, my going out and in.

Let Your name be my strong tower, my refuge from all sin.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:13)

Protect me from the enemy's schemes—his arrows, his deceit,

His plans to steal my joy and cause my weary soul to retreat.

He prowls like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,

But greater is the One in me—I rest in Your strong tower.

When the night is dark and shadows creep, when fear begins to rise,

Wrap me in Your peace, Lord; shield me with Your watchful eyes.

Let Your angels camp around me, guarding every side.

In the shelter of Your presence, I will safely hide.

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one. (2 Thessalonians 3:3)

Protect my mind from doubting lies, my heart from bitter roots,

My hands from deeds that bring You shame, my feet from evil pursuits.

Cover my family, my home, my work, my rest, my prayer.

Let the blood of Jesus be the covering that I wear.

So I place my life into Your hands—the hands that bear the scar.

You faced the tempter in the wilderness and won the cosmic war.

No weapon formed against me shall prosper, no darkness overcome.

Jesus, protect me from evil—in Your victory, I am home.

The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life. (Psalm 121:7)

Amen.

Jesus save me.

 Jesus, Save Me

A Cry from Psalm 69:1-2, Matthew 14:30, and Romans 10:13

Jesus, save me—the waters rise to my neck,

The flood of trouble, the shipwreck, the wreck

Of all my plans, my hopes, my strength.

I sink in deep mire; I cannot go to any length

To rescue myself from this miry clay.

Jesus, save me—I have no other way.

Save me, O God, for the waters have come up to my neck. I sink in the miry depths, where there is no foothold. (Psalm 69:1-2)

Like Peter on the stormy sea, I took my eyes off You.

The wind and waves of fear and doubt became my only view.

I cry out, “Lord, I’m sinking! Stretch out Your hand to me!”

And You reach through the chaos, saying, “Child, why did you flee?

But I am here. Take heart. I will not let you fall.”

Jesus, save me—be my all in all.

Immediately Jesus reached out His hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” He said, “why did you doubt?” (Matthew 14:31)

Save me from the pit of shame, the quicksand of regret,

From the lies that whisper, “You are done, you are not free yet.”

Lift me from the mud and mire, set my feet upon the Rock.

Put a new song in my mouth, unlock the prison lock.

Jesus, save me—not by my merit, but by grace,

And let me find my hiding place upon Your wounded face.

Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13)

So I call on You now—today, each hour, each breath.

You are the Savior who conquered sin and death.

Not just for eternity, but for this present dark.

Be my deliverance, my shield, my ark.

Jesus, save me. I trust You. I believe.

In Your salvation, I will never, never leave.

Amen.

Holy Ghost Fire, burn the evil in me.

Holy Ghost Fire, Burn the Evil in My Life

A Reflection on Hebrews 12:29, Matthew 3:11, and 1 Corinthians 3:13

Holy Ghost fire, burn the evil in my life—not to destroy, but to refine,

Not to leave me ashes, but to let Your holiness shine.

Come as the consuming fire, the flame that purges dross,

And burn away every hidden root of sin, every secret loss.

For our God is a consuming fire. (Hebrews 12:29)

Burn the evil that hides in the shadows of my heart—

Every lie I've believed, every wound that keeps me apart.

Burn the pride, the envy, the bitterness, and the shame.

Let Your holy flame consume them in Jesus' name.

Burn the patterns I've repeated, the cycles of defeat.

Burn the whispers of the enemy that make me feel incomplete.

Burn the generational chains, the curses spoken long ago.

Let the fire of Your Spirit make the rivers of mercy flow.

“He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.” (Matthew 3:11)

I invite Your refining fire—not to hurt, but to heal,

To reveal what is hidden and make my spirit zeal.

Burn the evil, Lord, that I cannot see or name,

And let there remain only love, only faith, only holy flame.

Let the fire fall on my thoughts, my words, my deeds.

Let it burn in my family, plant in me holy seeds.

Not with fear, but with power, with love, and a sound mind—

Holy Ghost fire, burn. Leave nothing of evil behind.

His work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each person’s work. (1 Corinthians 3:13)

So I welcome Your fire, O Spirit. Consume every trace

Of darkness, of compromise, of every hidden space.

Make me pure, make me holy, make me wholly Thine.

Holy Ghost fire, burn in me. Your life in me will shine.

Amen.

Your name is Power.

 Your Name Is Power

A Reflection on Proverbs 18:10, Philippians 2:9-11, and Acts 3:16

Your name is power—not a word to speak in vain,

But a strong and mighty tower, a refuge from the rain.

When the enemy advances, when the storm begins to rise,

Your name is the scepter that commands the dark to realize

Its defeat has been accomplished at the cross of Calvary.

Your name is power—and that power lives in me.

The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. (Proverbs 18:10)

Power to heal the broken, to raise the dead to life,

To calm the raging tempest, to still the inner strife.

Power to break the chains of addiction, fear, and shame,

Power to give the fallen the strength to rise and claim

A new identity, a future, a hope, a destiny.

Your name is power—and it has set me free.

By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. (Acts 3:16)

Not by magic or by formula, but by the living Lord,

Your name is not a talisman, but a relationship restored.

When I whisper, “Jesus,” or when I shout it from the peak,

The demons flee, the darkness breaks, the weary find the meek

Have inherited the kingdom through the power of You alone.

Your name is power—it shakes the very throne.

Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name. (Philippians 2:9)

So I will speak Your name over my mind, my heart, my home.

Over every anxious thought, over every silent groan.

Over sickness, over sorrow, over debt, over despair—

Your name is power; it will answer every prayer.

Your name is power—my stronghold, my defense.

I will trust in You forever. Amen. Amen. Amen.

Amen.

Your name is Healing.

 Your Name Is Healing

A Reflection on Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:2-3, and Isaiah 53:5

Your name is healing—not a formula or a word to speak,

But the presence of the Great Physician, the refuge for the weak.

When I whisper “Jesus,” every sickness bows its knee,

For Your name carries the power that was nailed to Calvary’s tree.

“I am the Lord, who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26)

Your name is healing for the body wracked with pain,

For the fever and the fracture, for the chronic, long campaign.

The same voice that said to Lazarus, “Come forth!” still speaks today,

And at the sound of Your name, the darkness has to give way.

Praise the Lord, my soul, and forget not all His benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases. (Psalm 103:2-3)

Your name is healing for the mind that cannot rest,

For the anxious thoughts, the memories that will not be suppressed.

You bind up the brokenhearted; You set the captive free.

Your name is the balm of Gilead, the remedy for me.

So I speak Your name over my body, over every cell and bone.

I speak Your name over my spirit, where the seeds of fear are sown.

I do not trust in my own faith, but in the One who came

To take my infirmities and bear my sickness and my shame.

But He was pierced for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on Him, and by His wounds we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5)

Your name is healing—not always in an instant, sudden flash,

But sometimes as a river, steady, deep, without a splash.

Yet I will trust Your name, O Lord, as my daily medicine,

For by Your wounds alone my healing enters in.

I declare it now: Your name, Jesus, is my healing.

My body, mind, and spirit are in Your hands, kneeling.

Your name is healing, Lord. I need not ask for much.

I receive Your touch. Amen.

Amen.

Your name is Life.

 Your Name Is Life

A Reflection on John 14:6, John 11:25, and 1 John 5:11-12

Your name is Life—not just a breath, not just a span,

But the very essence of existence, the resurrection of the man.

Where there was death, You bring a pulse; where there was void, a song.

Your name is Life, and to You, the dead belong.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life.” (John 14:6)

Life—not the shallow, fleeting kind that withers with the years,

But the eternal, overflowing stream that conquers all our fears.

In Your name, the hopeless find a future and a flame.

The sick arise, the captives freed, the broken praise Your name.

Your name is Life for the one who breathes his last,

For the one whose dreams have crumbled, for the one whose hope has passed.

You spoke to Lazarus, “Come forth!”—and death could not refuse.

The same voice calls to every soul that waits, that dares, that chooses.

“I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me will live, even though they die.” (John 11:25)

So I speak Your name over the grave of every buried thing—

Over relationships, over purpose, over the songs I cannot sing.

Let life arise where death has claimed a victory for a season.

Your name is Life, and in Your will there is no rhyme or reason

Save love, unstoppable, unending, breaking every bar.

Your name is Life. That is who You are.

And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. (1 John 5:11)

Amen.

All I want is Jesus.

 All I Want Is Jesus

A Reflection on Philippians 3:8, Psalm 73:25, and John 14:6

All I want is Jesus—not the gifts He brings,

Not the healing, not the answers, not the sound of angel wings.

I want the Giver, not the giving; the Friend, not just the grace;

The sweet communion of His presence, the beholding of His face.

I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. (Philippians 3:8)

I have tasted lesser treasures—the fleeting, hollow thrill,

The gold that rusts, the praise that fades, the dreams that overfill.

But none can satisfy the deep, the craving of my heart.

Only Jesus, only He, will never, ever part.

All I want is Jesus in the valley and the peak,

In the silence and the suffering, in the victory and the weak.

When friends depart and doors are closed, when hope is nearly gone,

He is the stone the builders refused—my cornerstone, my song.

Whom have I in heaven but You? And earth has nothing I desire besides You. (Psalm 73:25)

So let the world keep chasing its shadows and its dust.

I have found the pearl of greatest price, the One in whom I trust.

All I want is Jesus—not a part, but all of Him.

My first, my last, my everything, my cup that will not dim.

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)

Amen.

I spoke the name of Jesus.

I Want to Seek the Name of Jesus

A Reflection on Psalm 27:8, Jeremiah 29:13, and Acts 4:12

I want to seek the name of Jesus—not the name alone,

But the Person, the Power, the Glory that name has always known.

Not just to speak it in a prayer or sing it in a song,

But to know the One to whom all heaven and earth belong.

“My heart says of You, ‘Seek His face!’ Your face, Lord, I will seek.” (Psalm 27:8)

Seek—not a passive wish, but a holy, hungry chase,

A running after righteousness, a longing for His grace.

I will seek Him in the morning, in the quiet, in the Word,

In the whispers of the Spirit, where His voice is always heard.

The name of Jesus—there is power to heal, to save, to break

Every chain of sin and sorrow for the seeker's sake.

There is mercy in that name, there is peace for every storm,

There is love that never fails to keep the seeking soul secure and warm.

“You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13)

So I will seek Him not for blessings, not for answered prayer alone,

But for the joy of knowing Him, of making His heart my home.

I will seek until I find Him, I will knock until He opens wide,

And in the seeking, I will learn to lay my worthless pride aside.

I want to seek the name of Jesus—today, tomorrow, all my days.

Not a distant search, but a walk of faith, a love that always stays.

And in the seeking, I will find that He has sought me from the start—

The name of Jesus is my treasure, my desire, my very heart.

Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved. (Acts 4:12)

Amen.

I spoke Life.

 I Spoke Life

A Declaration on the Power of the Tongue

Reflecting on Proverbs 18:21 and John 6:63

I spoke life—not with a whisper, not with a sigh,

But with the authority of heaven, with the Spirit's reply.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,

So I choose to speak what the Lord has sung.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit. (Proverbs 18:21)

I spoke life over my barren ground,

And seeds of hope began to sprout all around.

Over my weary soul, I spoke, "Rise and shine."

And strength flowed in, for the Lord is mine.

I spoke life over my broken dreams,

Over the silent tears and silent screams.

The words I speak are not merely air;

They carry the power of answered prayer.

The words I have spoken to you are spirit and they are life. (John 6:63, paraphrased)

I refuse to speak defeat or dread.

I will not curse the bread I've been fed.

With my mouth, I align with heaven's will.

I speak life, and I will be still.

So let every word I utter bring grace,

Let healing and hope fill every space.

I spoke life—and it shall be so,

For the Lord is the Word, and the Word will grow.

Amen.

Peace unto my Life.

 Peace Unto My Life

A Reflection on John 14:27, Philippians 4:7, and Isaiah 26:3

Peace unto my life—not as the world gives,

Not a fragile truce that shatters when trouble lives.

Not a temporary calm that depends on circumstance,

But the deep, abiding stillness of a heart that trusts Your plan.

“Peace I leave with you; My peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” (John 14:27)

Peace unto my mind—when anxious thoughts take flight,

When fear whispers in the darkness and steals away the night.

Let Your perfect love cast out every dart,

And let the stillness of Your presence quiet my racing heart.

Peace unto my spirit—in the chaos and the calm,

In the waiting and the wrestling, in the suffering and the psalm.

Let the Prince of Peace rule in me, calming every storm,

And wrapping me in quietness, safe and secure and warm.

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in You. (Isaiah 26:3)

Peace unto my relationships—where words have cut and bruised,

Where forgiveness seems impossible and old wounds are abused.

Let the peace of Christ arbitrate, healing every breach,

And let me be a peacemaker, loving as You teach.

Peace unto my home, my going out, my coming in.

Let Your shalom be the atmosphere where every day begins.

Not the absence of the storm, but the presence of the One

Who says, “Peace, be still,” and makes the raging cease.

And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:7)

So I receive Your peace—not as a feeling, but as a fact.

Not because my life is ordered, but because You have my back.

Peace unto my life, O Lord—today, tonight, always.

Your peace is my anchor, my shelter, my unending praise.

Amen.

My Majesty on High.

 My Majesty on High

A Reflection on Psalm 8:1, Hebrews 1:3, and Revelation 1:8

My Majesty on high—You are robed in splendor,

Clothed with glory, crowned with light.

The heavens are the work of Your fingers,

The stars obey Your sovereign might.

O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! You have set Your glory above the heavens. (Psalm 8:1)

You sit enthroned above the cherubim,

Yet You bend to hear the orphan's hymn.

The angels veil their faces at Your throne,

Yet You call the broken and the weary Your own.

My Majesty—not distant, cold, or far,

But the radiance of Your glory, the bright and morning star.

You spoke the universe with a single word,

And yet You know the falling of the smallest bird.

The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, sustaining all things by His powerful word. (Hebrews 1:3)

Your throne was established long ago,

From everlasting, You are God, and we are slow

To comprehend the height, the depth, the breadth

Of Your majestic love that conquered death.

So I bow before Your majesty—not in fear,

But in awe, with wonder, drawing near.

My Majesty on high—my King, my Lord, my Friend,

Whose reign of love will never, never end.

“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, “who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty.” (Revelation 1:8)

Amen.

My God.

 My God

A Reflection on Psalm 63:1, Exodus 15:2, and John 20:28

My God—not a distant, nameless force,

But the One who knows my name, who charts my course.

The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,

The God who parted seas and made the weary heart unpack.

O God, You are my God; earnestly I seek You. (Psalm 63:1)

My God—the Father who runs to meet the prodigal,

Who clothes me in righteousness, who makes the broken whole.

He does not turn away when I have wandered far.

He is my refuge and my strength, my bright and morning star.

My God—the Son, the Lamb who was slain,

Who bore my sins, my shame, my pain.

He rose victorious from the grave, He lives to intercede.

My Savior, my Redeemer, my everything I need.

Thomas answered Him, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28)

My God—the Spirit, the Comforter within,

Who leads me into truth and keeps me from old sin.

He prays when I have no words, He seals me as His own.

By His power, I am made new; I am never alone.

So I declare with every breath: You are my God, my all.

When I stand in trials or rest in peaceful thrall,

You are the same—unchanging, true, the great I AM.

My God—my portion, my victory, my great Amen.

The Lord is my strength and my defense; He has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise Him. (Exodus 15:2)

Amen.

My Prayer.

 My Prayer

A Personal Cry from the Depths of the Heart

Lord, You have heard my every whisper, seen my every tear.

Now I gather all my longings and lay them before You here.

My Prayer for Forgiveness

I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory—this I know too well.

My best attempts are tattered rags, my righteousness a shell.

But I confess, and I believe: Your blood still speaks for me.

Wash me, cleanse me, set me free. (1 John 1:9)

My Prayer for Healing

By Your stripes, I am healed—body, mind, and soul.

Touch my broken places; make my wounded spirit whole.

If the healing comes in lightning, I will shout Your praise.

If it comes as a slow unfolding, still I’ll trust through all my days. (Isaiah 53:5)

My Prayer for Surrender

Not my will, but Yours be done. Not my kingdom, but Your throne.

Take my plans, my fears, my future; make my heart Your home.

I lay my life upon the altar—living sacrifice.

Have Your way, Lord; I release my grip on every vice. (Romans 12:1)

My Prayer for Protection

Cover me beneath Your wings; hide me in Your side.

Guard my going out and coming in; be my faithful guide.

When the enemy comes like a flood, lift a standard high.

The name of Jesus is my refuge; I need not fear the night. (Psalm 91:4)

My Prayer for the Holy Spirit

Rushing wind and holy fire, fall upon me now.

Teach me, lead me, fill me, use me—this I humbly vow.

Let Your fruit of love and peace grow rich in all I do.

Come, O Spirit, make me new. (Acts 2:2-4)

My Prayer for Worship

I lift my voice, my hands, my life—a sweet and living song.

Not for praise of men, but for the One to whom I belong.

In spirit and in truth I bow; You alone are worthy, Lord.

Let every breath be hallelujah, every step an act adored. (John 4:24)

My Prayer for Trust

When the valley darkens, when I cannot see the way,

You are still the Shepherd; You will lead me, come what may.

Your goodness and mercy follow me—not just for today,

But all the days of my life, and I will dwell with You for aye. (Psalm 23:6)

My Prayer of Thanks

Thank You, Jesus, for the cross, the empty grave, the open door.

Thank You for the mercy new each morning, evermore.

For the breath I didn’t earn, for the love that never ends—

My prayer is simply this: I am Yours, and You are mine. Amen. (Psalm 118:1)

I stand in awe of you.

I Stand in Awe of You

A Reflection on Psalm 33:8, Revelation 15:4, and Psalm 65:8

I stand in awe of You—not a trembling, cowering fear,

But the wonder of a child when the Holy One draws near.

The stars declare Your majesty, the oceans roar Your name.

Yet You, the great I AM, still know my heart, my joy, my pain.

Let all the earth fear the Lord; let all the people of the world revere Him. (Psalm 33:8)

I stand in awe of Your power—You spoke and worlds were born.

You hold the universe in place; You turn the night to morn.

Yet this same power humbled itself to wash my filthy feet.

What a mighty, humble God, so merciful, so sweet.

I stand in awe of Your wisdom—beyond my highest thought.

The mysteries of Your ways cannot be bought or taught.

You see the end before the start, You weave through joy and grief.

Your knowledge is a boundless sea, my soul's complete relief.

Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to Your name? For you alone are holy. (Revelation 15:4)

So I stand in awe—not at a distance, cold and grim,

But with a grateful heart, Lord, for You have drawn me in.

Your awesomeness does not repel; it draws me to Your side.

In reverence and love, I come. In You, I will abide.

Those living far away fear Your wonders; where morning dawns and evening fades, You call forth songs of joy. (Psalm 65:8)

Amen.
