My Prayer
A Personal Cry from the Depths of the Heart
Lord, You have heard my every whisper, seen my every tear.
Now I gather all my longings and lay them before You here.
My Prayer for Forgiveness
I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory—this I know too well.
My best attempts are tattered rags, my righteousness a shell.
But I confess, and I believe: Your blood still speaks for me.
Wash me, cleanse me, set me free. (1 John 1:9)
My Prayer for Healing
By Your stripes, I am healed—body, mind, and soul.
Touch my broken places; make my wounded spirit whole.
If the healing comes in lightning, I will shout Your praise.
If it comes as a slow unfolding, still I’ll trust through all my days. (Isaiah 53:5)
My Prayer for Surrender
Not my will, but Yours be done. Not my kingdom, but Your throne.
Take my plans, my fears, my future; make my heart Your home.
I lay my life upon the altar—living sacrifice.
Have Your way, Lord; I release my grip on every vice. (Romans 12:1)
My Prayer for Protection
Cover me beneath Your wings; hide me in Your side.
Guard my going out and coming in; be my faithful guide.
When the enemy comes like a flood, lift a standard high.
The name of Jesus is my refuge; I need not fear the night. (Psalm 91:4)
My Prayer for the Holy Spirit
Rushing wind and holy fire, fall upon me now.
Teach me, lead me, fill me, use me—this I humbly vow.
Let Your fruit of love and peace grow rich in all I do.
Come, O Spirit, make me new. (Acts 2:2-4)
My Prayer for Worship
I lift my voice, my hands, my life—a sweet and living song.
Not for praise of men, but for the One to whom I belong.
In spirit and in truth I bow; You alone are worthy, Lord.
Let every breath be hallelujah, every step an act adored. (John 4:24)
My Prayer for Trust
When the valley darkens, when I cannot see the way,
You are still the Shepherd; You will lead me, come what may.
Your goodness and mercy follow me—not just for today,
But all the days of my life, and I will dwell with You for aye. (Psalm 23:6)
My Prayer of Thanks
Thank You, Jesus, for the cross, the empty grave, the open door.
Thank You for the mercy new each morning, evermore.
For the breath I didn’t earn, for the love that never ends—
My prayer is simply this: I am Yours, and You are mine. Amen. (Psalm 118:1)
