Lord Jesus, my advocates.

Amen. "Lord Jesus, my advocates" is a prayer of confidence and hope—a declaration that Jesus Christ stands before the Father on your behalf. He is your Advocate, your Defender, and your Intercessor. When the accuser comes, Jesus speaks on your behalf. When you are weak, He pleads for you. When you fall short, His righteousness covers you.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1)

"He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2)

"Therefore, since we have a great high priest who has ascended into heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to the faith we profess." (Hebrews 4:14)

"For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)

"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin." (1 John 1:7)

"Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." (Romans 8:34)

⚖️ What It Means That Jesus Is Our Advocate

This Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

He Speaks on Our Behalf He defends us before the Father. "We have an advocate with the Father." (1 John 2:1)

He Pleads Our Case He intercedes for us. "He is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." (Romans 8:34)

He Covers Our Sin His righteousness covers our failures. "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins." (1 John 2:2)

He Gives Us Access He opens the door to the Father. "For there is one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus." (1 Timothy 2:5)

🙏 A Prayer of Trust

Lord Jesus,

I thank You that You are my Advocate.

When the enemy accuses me,

You speak on my behalf.

When I fall short,

You intercede for me.

When I feel unworthy,

You cover me with Your righteousness.

I do not stand before the Father on my own merit—

I stand because of You.

I do not come with my own works—

I come covered by Your blood.

I do not fear condemnation—

For You are my defender.

I trust in Your advocacy.

I rest in Your intercession.

I walk in the freedom You have given me.

"We have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One." (1 John 2:1)

In Jesus' name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Victory

I declare today:

Jesus Christ is my Advocate.

He speaks for me.

He defends me.

He intercedes for me.

I am not condemned.

I am not forgotten.

I am not without hope.

For my Advocate is with the Father,

And He pleads my case with love.

"Who then is the one who condemns? No one. Christ Jesus who died... is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us." (Romans 8:34)

💎 A Final Encouragement

You are not standing before God alone. Jesus stands with you, for you, and on your behalf. He is your Advocate, and He will never leave your side. No accusation can stand against you, no guilt can hold you, and no fear can overcome you—because your Advocate is the Righteous One, and He has already won.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1)

Lord Jesus, my Advocate—I trust in You. 🙏⚖️💙
