Amen. That is a profound declaration of purpose and devotion. Here is a poem in response to that heartfelt truth.

The Reason
You are the reason I am alive, The breath that fills this frame. Not just to simply stay and breathe, But to glorify Your name. “For in him we live and move and have our being.”(Acts 17:28)
Before my form was ever shaped, You knew me and You planned, A purpose and a destiny, Held within Your hand. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”(Psalm 139:13)
You are the reason that my heart Still beats within my chest. The source of every morning’s grace, My soul’s eternal rest.
You are the reason I have hope When darkness seems to win. You are the reason I can rise Again, and yet again.
You are the reason for the joy That surprises me with song. The reason I have strength to stand, When I am not so strong.
So let my life, with every pulse, With every step I take, Be a living testament For my dear Savior’s sake.
You are the reason. Only You. My first,my last, my always true.
Amen.
