You are my Good Shepherd.

 Amen. What a comforting and powerful truth. Here is a poem celebrating Jesus, our Good Shepherd.

My Good Shepherd

You are my Good Shepherd, I shall not want,I shall not lack. You lead me to green pastures, And on Your grace,I look back. “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”(Psalm 23:1)

You know my name, You call me out, You quiet every fear and doubt. You leave the ninety-nine to find This one lost lamb You kept in mind. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”(John 10:14)

Your rod corrects, Your staff will guide, You walk with me right by my side. Through darkest valleys,I will go, But never alone—this I know. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”(Psalm 23:4)

You laid Your life down for the sheep, A promise You will always keep. No wolf can snatch me from Your hand, This is the promise of the land. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”(John 10:11)

So I will follow where You lead, On You alone my soul will feed. For You are faithful,strong, and true, My Shepherd,who will see me through.
