Amen. That is a profound and practical promise for every moment of our lives. Here is a poem on that divine invitation from James 1:5.

Ask For Wisdom
If anyone lacks wisdom—and who does not? For every day begins a plot We have not read,a path unseen, A choice to make,a bridge between What is and what is yet to be— A need for clarity.
Then let him ask of God, who gives, From whom all wise perspective lives. Who gives to all both freely, straight, Without a sigh, without a weight Of judgment for the need we feel, But grace to know, and grace to heal. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”(James 1:5)
He does not hide the way ahead, Or give a stone instead of bread. But opens up the mind of Christ, In whom all wisdom is sufficed. “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”(Colossians 2:3)
So I will ask, in faith, today, For wisdom for along the way. To see this crossroads, choice, or test, Through His perspective, which is best.
Not just to know the right or wrong, But how to love, and be made strong. Not just for facts inside my head, But for the daily,wisdom-led.
Thank You, O God, who gives the word, That every prayer for wisdom’s heard.
Amen.
