White throne Judgement.

The White Throne Judgment is a sobering and pivotal event described in Scripture, marking the final judgment of those who have rejected God. Here is a poem that reflects on its gravity and ultimate purpose.

The White Throne

A throne is set, so white and pure, A judgment that must yet endure. From which the earth and heaven flee, For all that’s hidden soon will be. “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it.”(Revelation 20:11)

The books are opened, one by one, Record of all that man has done. Every word and thought and deed, Planted from a selfish seed. “And the dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”(Revelation 20:12)

Another book is opened then— The Book of Life, which holds the names Of those who trusted in the Lamb, Who glorified the great I AM.

A search is made, a name is sought, For those who fought or never fought The fight of faith, who turned away, Or would not bow their knee and pray. “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”(Revelation 20:15)

No plea is heard, no last appeal, For grace was offered, strong and real. The cross was shown, the truth was plain, But they chose loss and endless pain.

Oh, let this truth stir us to grace, To run our faith’s relentless race. To tell the world of love’s great cost, Lest any soul be forever lost.

For us who know the Savior’s plea, No fear of this white throne have we. Our names are written, safe and sure, Our hope in Christ is ever secure.

Amen.
