River of Living Water flow in my Life.

This is a prayer for the fullness of the Holy Spirit—a request for His life, power, and refreshment to surge through your being, transforming you from the inside out and overflowing to others.

Here is a prayer and poem for that living flow.

The Inner Wellspring

I am dry ground, parched and cracked, On efforts past,my strength has racked. I thirst for more than I can find, For peace and power for my mind.

But You have promised not a drip, Not just a cistern I must grip, But something living,deep, and sure, A source eternal,clean and pure.

Let Your river of living water flow in my life.

“Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” By this he meant the Spirit... (John 7:38-39)

Spring up, O Well, within my soul! Break through the rock and take control! Wash over every dusty place, With Your renewing,holy grace.

Let it flow from Your throne above, A current of undying love. Let it carve new paths of grace, In this dry and weary place.

Let it water seeds of joy and peace, Let its flowing never cease. Let it bring life where all was dead, With every ripple,every spread.

This is not for me alone, A treasure I can keep unknown. This river flows to make me a source, To set a thirsty world on course.

So let it flow through me today, In every word I do and say. Let it heal,let it restore, And draw the thirsty to Your door.

River of Living Water, flow. I yield my channel,high and low. Remove the debris,clear the way, For Your new life in me today.
