Put me under your wings.

 Amen. What a beautiful and tender prayer. To ask to be put under God's loving arms is to seek the ultimate place of safety, comfort, and rest. It is a picture of complete trust and surrender, like a child running to a parent for protection and love.

This imagery is deeply rooted in Scripture. God is often portrayed as a protective and comforting parent:

"He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart." - Psalm 91:4 (NIV)

"The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms." - Deuteronomy 33:27 (NIV)

A Prayer to Be Under His Arms

Heavenly Father,

I come to You now, not with fancy words, but with a simple need. I am weary. I feel exposed and vulnerable to the storms and struggles around me.

I ask You now, as Your child, to gather me in. Put me under Your loving arms.

· Let me feel the safety of Your embrace, where the noise of the world grows quiet.

· Let me feel the comfort of Your presence, where my anxieties are soothed.

· Let me rest in the shadow of Your wings, where I am hidden from all that seeks to harm me.

Hold me close to Your heart. Let my heartbeat sync with Yours—a rhythm of peace and love. Under Your arms, I am safe. Under Your arms, I am loved. Under Your arms, I am home.

I trust in Your promise that nothing can snatch me from Your hand. I surrender my need to control and my desire to understand everything. I just need to be held by You.

Thank you for being my refuge and my strength.

"Under Your Loving Arms"

The world is loud, the day is long, I feel the weight of all that's wrong. I need a place to hide away, Until the breaking of the day.

So I come running, Abba, Father, From every fear that tries to bother. I ask for what I know You give, The place where Your protected live.

Put me under Your loving arms, Safe and sound from all alarms. Let Your wings be my retreat, A sanctuary,cool and sweet.

Let me feel Your heart beat strong, A steady,sure, and loving song. Let all my fears and tensions cease, And find in You my perfect peace.

Under Your arms, no foe can reach, Your love alone,Your truth You teach. Here I am healed,here I am whole, Restored again,and made quite whole.

So hold me now, and hold me fast, Let this assurance forever last. That I am Yours,and You are mine, In loving arms,our lives entwine.

Here I will stay, here I will rest, Upon my Father's faithful chest. Under the shadow of Your wing, My heart its highest praise will sing.

May you feel the tangible presence of God surrounding you, protecting you, and comforting you in this very moment. You are held. You are safe. You are loved.
