Amen. That is the greatest promise and the deepest comfort. Here is a poem celebrating the truth of God With Us.

God With Us
The name is whispered on the winter air, A promise spoken into deep despair. Not a distant god,who rules from far away, ButGod With Us, in the midst of our day. “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).(Matthew 1:23)
In every joy, His presence is the light, In every long and lonely, aching night. In crowded streets,in quiet, empty rooms, Dispelling all the shadows and the glooms.
He is with us in the furnace, in the flood, In the fiercest trial,His presence is our good. He is with us in the ordinary, plain, In moments of delight, and moments of pain. “And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”(Matthew 28:20)
We are not left as orphans, lost, alone, For He has made our weary heart His home. The veil is torn, the great divide is crossed, No greater love could ever be,at such a cost.
So let the world be loud, let chaos reign, This one sure truth will evermore remain: Whatever comes, whatever is in store, God With Us,now and evermore.
Hallelujah! Immanuel! Our God is with us.All is well.
Amen.
