Lord, I surrender my worries to you.

Amen. What a powerful and faith-filled declaration. To say, "Lord, I surrendered my worries to you" is not a passive act of defeat; it is an active act of trust and worship. It is placing your burdens into the hands of the only One strong enough to carry them.

This surrender is exactly what God calls us to do:

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." - 1 Peter 5:7 (NIV)

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)

You have taken the first and most important step: the act of release. Now, let the truth of His promise fill the space where those worries once were.

A Poem: "I Surrender My Worries"

Here is a poem to affirm your declaration and speak truth to your heart.

"I Surrender My Worries"

Lord, I open up my hands, Releasing all my fear's demands. The weight I carried, sharp and deep, I now surrender, give to Your keep.

I release the future, unknown, unclear, I surrender the outcomes I truly fear. I let go the finances, the healing, the need, From this burden,my spirit I free.

I cannot hold them anymore, My strength is gone,my hope is sore. So I place them on Your altar,Lord, In accordance with Your Word.

You did not ask me to understand, Just to trust Your sovereign hand. You did not ask me to have the plan, Just to cling to the great I AM.

So I cast them onto You, Knowing Your promise is ever true. You care for me,You know my way, You are my strength,my hope, my stay.

And in the place of anxious thought, A peace that I cannot be bought, Will stand as guard upon my heart, A grace You promised to impart.

The worry’s mine to cast and release, The peace is Yours to give and increase. The problem’s mine to lay down at the cross, The outcome’s Yours to manage and boss.

I surrender, Lord. I let them go. And watch Your perfect peace now flow.

A Prayer After Surrender

Heavenly Father,

I come to You now in Jesus' name. Thank You for inviting me to cast all my cares on You. Right now, I choose to leave them there.

I confess that I have tried to carry these burdens myself. Forgive me for my self-reliance and anxiety. I declare that You are God, and I am not. You are sovereign, good, and You care for me deeply.

I receive Your peace now—the peace that transcends all understanding. I ask that it would stand guard over my heart and my mind. Help me to now walk in trust, not in fear. When the enemy tries to hand those worries back to me, help me to remember that I gave them to You, and You are more than able to handle them.

Thank you for Your faithfulness. My trust is in You.

Amen.
