I will follow Jesus, no turning back.

 Amen. This is a powerful declaration of faith and commitment! To say, "I will follow Jesus, no turning back" is to echo the resolve of disciples throughout the ages. It is a decision that changes your eternal destiny and your earthly journey.

This declaration brings to mind the words of Jesus Himself about the cost and commitment of discipleship:

"And he said to all, 'If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.'" - Luke 9:23 (ESV)

"And Jesus said to him, 'No one who puts his hand to the plow and looks back is fit for the kingdom of God.'" - Luke 9:62 (ESV)

You are choosing the path of life, no matter what it may bring.

What Does It Mean to Follow Jesus with No Turning Back?

It is a daily commitment to:

· Priority: Put Jesus first, above all else—family, career, comfort, and personal desires.

· Obedience: Seek His will through His Word and obey His commands, even when it's difficult.

· Identity: Find your worth, purpose, and identity in Him alone.

· Perseverance: Keep following Him through trials, doubts, and seasons of dryness, trusting His faithfulness.

A Prayer of Commitment

Lord Jesus,

Today, I make my stand. I declare before heaven and earth that I will follow You, no turning back.

I renounce the paths that lead away from You. I turn my back on my old life, my old ways, and my self-directed plans. I fix my eyes on You.

I know the road may not be easy. There may be trials and sacrifices. But I believe that following You is the only path to true life, joy, and peace. Your presence is my reward.

Give me the strength to be faithful every day. When I am tempted to look back, remind me of the cross where You gave everything for me. When I am weak, be my strength. When I am lost, be my guide.

I am Yours, Jesus. Forever.

"No Turning Back"

I have decided, made my choice, To listen for my Shepherd's voice. The world behind me,cross before, I'll follow Him forevermore.

Though none go with me, still I'll follow, No turning back,no turning back.

The road may lead through grief or pain, Through driving sun or pouring rain. But though the path may weary be, His presence walks along with me.

My cross I'll carry, till I see, No turning back,no turning back.

I've counted up the final cost, And though I know some things are lost, The gain of knowing Christ my King, Makes my surrendered spirit sing.

I'll trust in Him, through thick and thin, No turning back,no turning back.

He is my treasure, He is my prize, The light of dawn within my eyes. My past is gone,my future sure, In His great love,I am secure.
