From Glory to Glory

Not by my power, not by might, But by Your Spirit's glorious light, Transform this vessel,weak and plain, Through fleeting joy,and lasting pain. “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”(2 Corinthians 3:18)

Bring me from glory to glory, Lord, By the sharp edge of Your word. Shape my heart to Your design, Less of mine,and more of Thine.

Let each triumph, each trial's end, A deeper love for You intend. Let every step,both lost and won, Make me more like Your perfect Son. “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son.”(Romans 8:29)

Not to a pride that stands alone, But to a glory You alone own. A reflection of Your grace and story, This is the path from glory to glory.

So take my hand, and do not cease, Lead me into Your perfect peace. Until I see,on that far shore, Your glory,forevermore.
