Amen. This is the ultimate and certain future of all creation—the universal acknowledgment of the supreme lordship of Jesus Christ. It is a truth that brings both awe-filled worship and solemn responsibility.
Here is a poem on that glorious and inevitable day.

The Final Symphony
The day will come, the hour appointed, When every heart, once disappointed, Will stand before the shining throne, And know,at last, that God alone…
Is Lord.
No more debate, no hidden thought, No deed forgotten, never caught. Every secret will be known, Before the King upon His throne.
Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
Every knee will bow: The knee of kings and conquerors proud, The knee of paupers, humble, bowed. The knee that once refused to bend, Will meet its undeniable end.
The knee in heaven, joyfully bent, The knee on earth,in wonderment, The knee under the earth,in dread— All will bow to Him,the Living Head.
Every tongue will confess: The tongue that preached His righteousness, The tongue that spoke His name to bless. The tongue that cursed, the tongue that lied, The tongue that once His name denied.
In that great moment, vast and deep, No soul His sovereignty will keep From bursting forth in one accord: “Jesus Christ is Lord!”
For some, it will be salvation’s cry, The fulfillment of a hopeful sigh. For others,a confession forced and true, Acknowledging what they always knew.
It is written: “’As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” (Romans 14:11)
So let my knee now learn to bend, And let my tongue now recommend This Jesus,Lord of all the earth, His love,His mercy, and His worth.
Not just as future fact to know, But as my present, glad, “Yes!” though The world may scorn and disagree, My knee bows now, eternally.
Jesus Christ is Lord. Let heaven shout it!Let earth adore! And let me speak it evermore. Until that final, glorious day, When all creation joins to say…Amen.
