God, You are my banner

 Amen. That is a powerful declaration of victory and identity. Here is a poem celebrating Jehovah Nissi, the Lord Our Banner.

My Banner

You are my Banner, raised up high, A signal to the world and sky. A declaration bold and clear: My God is present,He is here! “Moses built an altar and called it The Lord is my Banner.”(Exodus 17:15)

When confusion is the battle’s smoke, And my weary spirit feels broke, I look to You,my standard true, And find my strength in You renewed.

You are the flag flown over me, A sign of triumph,liberty. The cross,the place where war was won, The victory of Your Holy Son. “But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”(1 Corinthians 15:57)

Under this Banner, I am known, I do not fight this war alone. Your colors mark me as Your own, Loved,protected, and brought home.

So let the enemy draw near, I will not cower,I will not fear. For You,my Banner, wave ahead, And where You lead,I too will tread.

Jehovah Nissi, great I AM, My Banner and the great I AM.
