You are the same yesterday, today and forever.

Amen. That is one of the most stabilizing, comforting truths in all of Scripture. Here is a poem on the eternal, unchanging nature of our God.

---

The Same

You are the same. Yesterday’sfaithfulness is today’s sure foundation, Your covenant promises find their continuation. The God of Abraham,Isaac, and Jacob is here, Dispelling my doubt, dissolving my fear. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.”(Hebrews 13:8)

You are the same. Today,in the chaos, the change, and the strain, Your character,Your love, cannot be made vain. The same power that raised Christ up from the dead, Is alive in me now, just as You said.

You are the same. Forever. When worlds fade and new heavens begin, Your reign has no end,and no shadow of sin. The Alpha,Omega, Beginning and End, My Savior,my Lord, and my dearest Friend.

The universe shifts, kingdoms rise and they fall, Generations come, and then answer their call. But You are the anchor, the constant, the true, And because You are changeless,Your promises too.

So I build my whole life on this rock-solid truth: The God of my past is the God of my youth, The God of my now,and the God of my end. On this faithful, unchanging God, I depend.

Hallelujah! You are the same!

Amen.

My Advocates before God.

Amen. What a powerful and comforting truth. To know we have not one, but divine Advocates who speak for us before the Father is the foundation of our confidence. Here is a poem celebrating our heavenly defense.

---

My Advocates Before God

When I stand silent, shamed by sin, When accusations rise within, When Satan points his awful finger, And my own failing makes me linger…

I have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ, the Righteous One. He stands for me before the throne, And says,“My work for her is done.” “My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have an advocate with the Father—Jesus Christ, the Righteous One.”(1 John 2:1)

He does not make excuses for my fall, He points instead to He who paid it all. He shows His wounds,His side, His hands, The proof that fulfills all demands. “Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.”(Hebrews 7:25)

And when I do not know how to pray, When words and sorrow lead astray, Another Advocate groans deep inside, And with my spirit,He does abide. “The Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.”(Romans 8:26)

So Two are there to plead my case, To lavish me with holy grace. The Son who died to make me right, The Spirit who is truth and light.

I am not left to face the court alone, My fate upon my worth to be thrown. My Advocates before God stand for me, And in their hands,my soul will be.

I am defended. I am secure.

Amen.

Unless the House is build by God, the builder will be in vain.

Amen. You have stated a profound and essential biblical truth. This principle reminds us that unless God is the foundation, architect, and builder of our lives, families, ministries, and endeavors, all our human effort is ultimately futile.

This concept is rooted in Scripture:

"Unless the LORD builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain." - Psalm 127:1 (NIV)

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 3:11 (NIV)

What Does This Mean?

This verse applies to every area of life:

· Our Lives: If we build our identity, security, and future on anything other than God and His will (e.g., career, relationships, wealth), it will eventually collapse.

· Our Families: A Christian home must be built on the principles of God's Word, with Christ as the head. Without Him, our efforts to create a happy, healthy family will be in vain.

· Our Ministries: Any work done for God must be initiated and empowered by Him. We can have great programs and strategies, but if the Holy Spirit is not in it, it will bear no eternal fruit.

· Our Plans: We can make plans, but we must submit them to the Lord and seek His guidance. His purpose will always prevail (Proverbs 19:21).

A Prayer for God to Build Your House

Heavenly Father,

I acknowledge this truth today: unless You build the house, I labor in vain. I surrender my plans, my dreams, my family, and my life to You.

· Be the Architect. Give me the blueprint for my life. Show me Your will and Your ways.

· Be the Foundation. I build my life on Jesus Christ, the solid rock. Let everything else be settled upon Him.

· Be the Builder. I invite Your Holy Spirit to take control. Build my character, my relationships, and my future according to Your design.

· Guard what You build. I trust You to watch over and protect all that You establish.

I turn away from self-reliance and striving. I depend entirely on You. I ask for the wisdom and humility to follow Your lead every step of the way.

In the name of Jesus, our cornerstone, Amen.

A Poem: "Unless the Lord Builds the House"

"Unless the Lord Builds the House"

I may build a house of stone, And work and strive all on my own. I may raise the walls up high, Beneath a bright and sunny sky.

But if the Lord is not the source, To guide and chart the building's course, Then all my work, and all my pain, Will be,I fear, in vain.

For winds will come, and rains will fall, And test the strength of wall and hall. And what was built on shifting sand, Will not be able to stand.

But if the Lord does build the house, In every room,He will arouse A sense of peace,a sense of place, A dwelling filled with love and grace.

So let me not my own plans seek, But let me be both mild and meek. And ask the Lord to build in me, A life for all eternity.

Unless the Lord builds, it is vain, Through sunshine and through rain. So I will let Him have His way, And follow Him,day by day.

May you experience the peace and fruitfulness that comes from letting God be the builder of your life. Trust His plans, His timing, and His process. What He builds will last for eternity.

Put me in Book of Life

White throne Judgement.

The White Throne Judgment is a sobering and pivotal event described in Scripture, marking the final judgment of those who have rejected God. Here is a poem that reflects on its gravity and ultimate purpose.

---

The White Throne

A throne is set, so white and pure, A judgment that must yet endure. From which the earth and heaven flee, For all that’s hidden soon will be. “Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it.”(Revelation 20:11)

The books are opened, one by one, Record of all that man has done. Every word and thought and deed, Planted from a selfish seed. “And the dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.”(Revelation 20:12)

Another book is opened then— The Book of Life, which holds the names Of those who trusted in the Lamb, Who glorified the great I AM.

A search is made, a name is sought, For those who fought or never fought The fight of faith, who turned away, Or would not bow their knee and pray. “If anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”(Revelation 20:15)

No plea is heard, no last appeal, For grace was offered, strong and real. The cross was shown, the truth was plain, But they chose loss and endless pain.

Oh, let this truth stir us to grace, To run our faith’s relentless race. To tell the world of love’s great cost, Lest any soul be forever lost.

For us who know the Savior’s plea, No fear of this white throne have we. Our names are written, safe and sure, Our hope in Christ is ever secure.

Amen.

My Mighty Counsellor

Amen. This name, “Mighty Counselor,” speaks of both His power and His intimate care. Here is a poem celebrating this wonderful aspect of our Lord.

---

Mighty Counselor

You are the Mighty Counselor, With wisdom that cannot conceal, The One who knows the end and start, And speaks the truth that makes us real. “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given... And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God...”(Isaiah 9:6)

Your might is not a crushing force, But strength applied with perfect grace. Your counsel is not cold advice, But truth that shines in love’s embrace.

You listen to my trembling heart, You understand my silent plea. Then with a word of sovereign power, You set my shackled spirit free.

You counsel me through Your own Word, A light upon the darkest way. You guide my steps and guard my soul, And turn my midnight into day. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you.”(Psalm 32:8)

No problem is too small for You, No burden is beyond Your care. You are the God of galaxies, Yet in my quiet prayer,You’re there.

So I will bring my every thought, My every worry, great or small. To You,my Mighty Counselor, The One who knows and governs all.

Thank You for wisdom, strong and sweet, For making my confusion cease. I trust Your counsel and Your might, And in Your perfect plan,I rest.

Amen.

My Peace I leave with you.

Amen. These are the very words of Jesus, a bequest of peace unlike any the world can offer. Here is a poem on that profound and comforting gift.

---

My Peace I Leave

“My peace I leave with you,” You said, As love poured from Your heart and head. Not as the world gives, frail and brief, A temporary, small relief— But deep, and lasting, full, and true, A gift from me,My peace to you. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”(John 14:27)

It is the peace that stilled the storm, A grace to keep our hearts so warm. It is the calm before Your throne, A quietness we’ve always known Was waiting for our souls to claim, When we first called upon Your name.

This peace will stand when structures fall, Will answer fear’s most desperate call. It is a sentry for the mind, A perfect, holy, gentle bind That holds us fast through joy and pain, Through sunshine and through falling rain.

So I receive this peace today, I will not let it slip away. I’ll let it rule within my heart, And from Your presence, not depart.

Thank you, Jesus, for this gift, Your peace,my soul will now uplift.

Amen.

Prince of Peace

Amen. "Prince of Peace" is one of the most beautiful and comforting titles of Jesus Christ, prophesied centuries before His birth and fulfilled in His life and ministry. It speaks not of an earthly ruler who brings temporary calm through force, but of a heavenly King who establishes deep, lasting peace in the human heart and, ultimately, in all creation.

This majestic name was proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah:

"For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." - Isaiah 9:6 (ESV)

What Does "Prince of Peace" Mean?

The title is rich with meaning:

· Prince (Sar in Hebrew): This denotes more than just royalty; it means "Chief," "Ruler," or "Authority." He is the supreme authority over peace.

· Peace (Shalom): This Hebrew word means far more than the absence of conflict. It means wholeness, completeness, harmony, welfare, and tranquility. It is a state of things being as they should be—rightly related to God and others.

Therefore, Jesus, as the Prince of Peace, is:

· The Source of Peace: All true peace originates from Him.

· The Author of Peace: He creates and establishes peace.

· The Ruler over Peace: He has absolute authority to command peace into any situation—in our hearts, relationships, and circumstances.

The Peace He Brings

1. Peace with God: This is the primary peace He came to bring. Our sin made us enemies of God, but Jesus' sacrifice on the cross reconciled us to Him.

"Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." - Romans 5:1 (ESV)

2. The Peace of God: This is the internal peace He gives us, a calmness of heart and mind that guards us amid life's storms, regardless of our external circumstances.

"And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:7 (ESV)

3. Peace with Others: His peace enables us to be peacemakers, breaking down walls of hostility and fostering reconciliation.

"For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility..." - Ephesians 2:14 (ESV)

A Prayer to the Prince of Peace

Prince of Peace,

We worship You. You are the supreme Ruler and Author of all peace. In a world of chaos, fear, and conflict, we look to You.

· Rule in my heart. Where there is anxiety, fear, or turmoil, speak Your shalom. command a calm into the storm of my soul.

· Reign in my relationships. Where there is brokenness, hurt, or division, be the bridge of reconciliation. Make me a peacemaker.

· Establish Your peace in our world. We long for the day when You will return and usher in Your everlasting kingdom of perfect peace.

Thank you for making peace with God possible through Your blood. Thank you for giving me Your peace that transcends all understanding. I receive it now. I rest in You, my Prince of Peace.

In Your mighty name, Amen.

A Poem: "Prince of Peace"

"Prince of Peace"

The world seeks peace in treaties signed, In power, and in human mind. But peace on earth cannot be found, On any temporary ground.

But in a manger, long foretold, A gift of peace to have and hold. A Child was born,a Son was given, To bring true peace from heaven.

They called His name the Prince of Peace, And from our striving, brings release. Not as the world gives, does He give, But in His presence,we can live.

He makes the warring soul be still, And every fear and doubt, does still. He breaks the chains of guilt and shame, And heals our hearts in His own name.

He is our peace, our Shalom true, He makes all things and all hearts new. So come,oh Prince of Peace, and reign, In every heart,in every pain.

Oh, Prince of Peace, we welcome You, And Your great work in us,now do. Until we see You face to face, And know the fullness of Your grace.

May the peace of Christ rule in your heart today. Whatever storm you are facing, speak the name of the Prince of Peace over it. He is your calm and your sure foundation.

You are the Great I Am

Amen. That is the most profound and all-encompassing name of God, revealing His eternal, self-existent, and sovereign nature. Here is a poem in awe of the Great I AM.

---

The Great I AM

Before the “was,” before the “is,” Before all time and space, You simplyare. The great I AM, The holy, dwelling place.

You are the breath behind all life, The source of every name. The burning bush that is not consumed, The everlasting flame. “God said to Moses, ‘I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: “I AM has sent me to you.”’”(Exodus 3:14)

You are the bread when I am hungry, The light upon my way. You are the door, the vine, the truth, You are my yesterday, My present help,my future hope, The one who stays the same. “Jesus said to them, ‘Very truly I tell you, before Abraham was born, I am!’”(John 8:58)

I AM the resurrection. I AM the good shepherd’s care. I AM the way,the life, the truth, The answer to each prayer.

You need no past to justify, No future to complete. You are the fullness of all things, In You,I am complete.

You are the center and the circle, The beginning and the end. My Savior, and my dearest Friend.

You are the great I AM. And I am Yours.

Amen.

If the Son set me free, I am free indeed.

Amen. That is a powerful declaration of faith in the finished work of Christ. Here is a poem celebrating that ultimate and complete freedom.

---

Free Indeed

If the Son has set me free, Then that is all that matters. No chain of sin can hold me now, No enemy’s voice clamors.

It is not a freedom I have won, Or fought for with my might. It is a freedom bought and sealed In resurrection’s light. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”(John 8:36)

Free from the law’s condemning voice, Free from the grip of shame. Free to make my God my choice, Free to believe His name.

Free to run the race He’s set, Free from the past’s dark night. Free to love, and not forget The source of all my light.

This freedom is not a license, To wander from the fold. It is the power of His presence, A story to be told.

It is the liberty to be The child He says I am. To live in truth, and to be free Within the great I AM.

So I stand in this truth, I plant my feet and say: If You have set me free, Lord, Then I am free indeed today.

Hallelujah!

Amen.

You are the reason I am alive.

Amen. That is a profound declaration of purpose and devotion. Here is a poem in response to that heartfelt truth.

---

The Reason

You are the reason I am alive, The breath that fills this frame. Not just to simply stay and breathe, But to glorify Your name. “For in him we live and move and have our being.”(Acts 17:28)

Before my form was ever shaped, You knew me and You planned, A purpose and a destiny, Held within Your hand. “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.”(Psalm 139:13)

You are the reason that my heart Still beats within my chest. The source of every morning’s grace, My soul’s eternal rest.

You are the reason I have hope When darkness seems to win. You are the reason I can rise Again, and yet again.

You are the reason for the joy That surprises me with song. The reason I have strength to stand, When I am not so strong.

So let my life, with every pulse, With every step I take, Be a living testament For my dear Savior’s sake.

You are the reason. Only You. My first,my last, my always true.

Amen.

I surrender my Life to your loving arms.

Amen. This is the most beautiful and complete surrender—to fall into the everlasting, loving arms of God. Here is a prayer in response.

---

I Surrender

I surrender my life, The whole of it,Lord, to You. Not just the parts I understand, But the broken and confused parts, too.

I lay down my striving, My need to control and to plan. I release every burden, Into Your capable hand.

I let go of the past, Its regrets and its deep, aching shame. I let go of the future, And trust in Your holy name.

I fall into Your loving arms, So strong and so safe and so wide. In this surrender,I am not lost; In Your embrace,I am found. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.”(1 Peter 5:7)

Here, I find perfect rest, Here,I am fully known. These arms were stretched out on a cross, To claim me as Your own.

I do not surrender to emptiness or void, But to a love that will never let go. I surrender my life,my all, to You, For You love me more than I know.

Take it, Jesus. It is Yours. I am home.

Amen.

Set the captives free

Amen. This is the very mission of Christ, proclaimed in His first sermon and fulfilled at the cross. Here is a poem declaring this powerful truth.

---

Set The Captives Free

The Spirit of the Lord is on me still, To answer heaven’s eternal will. He has anointed me to preach good news, To break the chains and loose the binding screws. “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”(Isaiah 61:1)

To set the captives free from dungeon deep, From promises they could not keep. To open doors that were sealed shut, And heal the soul that was cut.

Free from the prison of addiction’s night, Free to walk in the Spirit’s light. Free from the guilt that held them fast, Free from a unforgivable past. “So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.”(John 8:36)

Free from the fear that steals all breath, Free from the spiritual power of death. Free from the lies they’ve come to trust, Rising up from the grave’s dark dust.

This is the year of the Lord’s own favor, Displayed in Christ, our mighty Savior. He took the keys from the enemy’s hand, And now we walk in this free land.

So proclaim it now with a holy shout, Let the prisoners of hope come out! The chains are broken, the debt is paid, The foundation for freedom forever laid.

Set the captives free! For the Son has made us free indeed!

Amen.

Bondage to Freedom

Amen. That is the powerful narrative of the Gospel—a journey from captivity to liberation. Here is a poem on that transformative passage.

---

From Bondage to Freedom

I dwelt in a house of bondage, In chains I did not see, A prisoner to the lies I told, That kept me from being free.

I served a taskmaster of shame, For wages of despair, And breathed the dust of that dry land, And thought no one was there.

But then a Voice spoke through the gloom, A Word both sharp and sweet, “I have come down to set you free, To give you mercy’s seat.”

It was not with a sword of steel, But with a nail-scarred hand, He broke the locks and snapped the chains, And led me from that land. “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.”(Galatians 5:1)

He led me out from Pharaoh’s reach, Through seas of grace and blood, Into a wide and spacious place, The favor of my God. “He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.”(Psalm 18:19)

The past may whisper, “You’re still bound,” The enemy may lie, But I am free, yes, wholly free— On this truth I rely.

So I will walk in this new way, This liberty He bought, And live the life of promise, In the freedom I was sought.

From bondage… to freedom. Hallelujah,what a Savior!

Amen.

God heal the brokenhearted.

Amen. This is a profound and comforting truth straight from the heart of God. He is not a distant observer of our pain; He is the Healer who draws near to those whose hearts are shattered.

This promise is explicitly declared in Scripture:

"The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit." - Psalm 34:18 (ESV)

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." - Psalm 147:3 (ESV)

What Does It Mean That God Heals the Brokenhearted?

A "broken heart" can come from many sources: grief, betrayal, rejection, loss, or deep disappointment. God's healing involves:

· His Presence: He comes near. He does not always immediately remove the pain, but He promises to be with us in the midst of it (Isaiah 43:2).

· His Comfort: The Holy Spirit is called the "Comforter" (or "Helper," John 14:16). He brings a peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7).

· His Restoration: He gently binds up our wounds over time. He can take our deepest pain and use it to bring about purpose, compassion, and depth in our lives and in our ministry to others (2 Corinthians 1:3-4).

· His Hope: He reminds us that our story is not over. He can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:3).

A Prayer for the Brokenhearted

Heavenly Father,

You see the broken pieces of my heart. You know the pain that I carry, the hurt that words cannot even express. I bring my brokenness to You now, because You promised that You are near to those who are brokenhearted.

Please, Lord, heal my heart. Draw near to me in this pain. Wrap me in Your loving presence and let me feel Your comfort. Bind up my wounds as only You can.

Restore my joy. Replace my mourning with a garment of praise. Give me hope for tomorrow and peace for today. Help me to trust that You are working even in this pain, and that You will not waste a single tear.

Thank you for being the God who heals.

In the name of Jesus, the Man of Sorrows who is acquainted with grief, Amen.

A Poem: "He Heals the Brokenhearted"

"He Heals the Brokenhearted"

The heart that's broken, crushed, and sore, The spirit that can't take much more, The tears that fall throughout the night, The loss of every hope and light—

This is the place where God draws near, To whisper hope,to calm the fear. This is the hurt He loves to heal, A promise that is true and real.

He does not stand afar off then, He enters in the pain of men. He gathers every broken part, And holds them close upon His heart.

With gentle hands, He binds the wound, A work of love,in time, attuned. He takes the ashes, makes them new, And gives a different, brighter view.

So if your heart is broken today, In silent grief,or on display, Lift up your eyes, and you will see, The God who heals, and sets you free.

He heals the brokenhearted, true, And makes their joy again like new. Trust in His process, trust His hand, To lead you to the promised land.

If you are brokenhearted today, know that God sees you, He knows your pain, and He is with you. Bring your hurt to Him. He is a safe place for your sorrow. Trust Him to begin a gentle work of healing in your heart.

Lion of Judah

Amen. "Lion of Judah" is one of the most powerful and majestic titles for Jesus Christ, rich with symbolism and promise. It speaks of His supreme authority, His victorious power, and His royal lineage as the conquering King.

This title has its roots in the Old Testament and finds its ultimate fulfillment in the book of Revelation:

"Judah is a lion's cub; from the prey, my son, you have gone up. He stooped down; he crouched as a lion and as a lioness; who dares rouse him?" - Genesis 49:9 (ESV) (Jacob's blessing to his son Judah)

"And one of the elders said to me, 'Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered...'" - Revelation 5:5 (ESV)

What Does "Lion of Judah" Mean?

· Royalty and Kingship: Judah was the tribe of King David and the royal lineage through which the Messiah would come. Jesus is the ultimate King from this line, fulfilling the prophecy.

· Strength and Power: The lion is the king of beasts, symbolizing absolute strength, authority, and sovereignty. Jesus is the all-powerful King who conquers all His enemies.

· Victory: The Lion of Judah "has conquered." He conquered sin, death, and Satan through His sacrificial death and resurrection. He is the undefeated Champion.

· Protection: A lion protects its pride. Jesus, as the Lion of Judah, protects His people and defends them from their enemies.

It is a beautiful paradox that the "Lion of Judah" is also the "Lamb of God" who was slain (Revelation 5:5-6). He conquered not with violent force, but with sacrificial love.

A Prayer to the Lion of Judah

Lord Jesus, Lion of Judah,

We worship You. You are the mighty King, the Root of David, the victorious Lion who has conquered sin, death, and the grave.

We praise You for Your power and Your strength. We thank You that You are our protector and our defender. No enemy can stand against You. You are the ultimate authority, and every knee will one day bow to You.

Help us to live in the confidence and security of Your victory. When we feel afraid or overwhelmed, remind us that the Lion of Judah is on our side. Roar over Your people, O Lord, and let Your enemies be scattered.

We look forward with hope to the day when You will return as the conquering King to establish Your eternal reign.

In Your mighty and majestic name, Amen.

A Poem: "The Lion of Judah"

"The Lion of Judah"

From Judah's tribe, a Lion came, To take away our sin and shame. Not with a roar of fierce attack, But down a humble, painful track.

He crouched low in a manger born, A King of glory, yet now torn. He stooped as prey upon the tree, For rebels like you and me.

But do not think the Lion weak, For it was victory He did seek. And when He roared,"It is done!" The power of sin and death undone.

Now He has risen, ascended high, The Lord of all,the King most nigh. And now He waits for the Father's cue, To come again, for me and you.

So hear the roar of Judah's Lion, Over every power and demon scion. He is the King,He is the Lord, To be forever praised adored.

The Lion of Judah breaks every chain, And forevermore He shall reign. So bow the knee and bless His name, The Lion who was slain, yet overcame!

May the reality of Jesus as the Lion of Judah fill you with awe, courage, and unwavering confidence in His ultimate victory and kingship over every circumstance in your life.

Anyone lack wisdom, Let him ask from God.

Amen. That is a profound and practical promise for every moment of our lives. Here is a poem on that divine invitation from James 1:5.

---

Ask For Wisdom

If anyone lacks wisdom—and who does not? For every day begins a plot We have not read,a path unseen, A choice to make,a bridge between What is and what is yet to be— A need for clarity.

Then let him ask of God, who gives, From whom all wise perspective lives. Who gives to all both freely, straight, Without a sigh, without a weight Of judgment for the need we feel, But grace to know, and grace to heal. “If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”(James 1:5)

He does not hide the way ahead, Or give a stone instead of bread. But opens up the mind of Christ, In whom all wisdom is sufficed. “In whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.”(Colossians 2:3)

So I will ask, in faith, today, For wisdom for along the way. To see this crossroads, choice, or test, Through His perspective, which is best.

Not just to know the right or wrong, But how to love, and be made strong. Not just for facts inside my head, But for the daily,wisdom-led.

Thank You, O God, who gives the word, That every prayer for wisdom’s heard.

Amen.

You are my Good Shepherd.

Amen. What a comforting and powerful truth. Here is a poem celebrating Jesus, our Good Shepherd.

---

My Good Shepherd

You are my Good Shepherd, I shall not want,I shall not lack. You lead me to green pastures, And on Your grace,I look back. “The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.”(Psalm 23:1)

You know my name, You call me out, You quiet every fear and doubt. You leave the ninety-nine to find This one lost lamb You kept in mind. “I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.”(John 10:14)

Your rod corrects, Your staff will guide, You walk with me right by my side. Through darkest valleys,I will go, But never alone—this I know. “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”(Psalm 23:4)

You laid Your life down for the sheep, A promise You will always keep. No wolf can snatch me from Your hand, This is the promise of the land. “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.”(John 10:11)

So I will follow where You lead, On You alone my soul will feed. For You are faithful, strong, and true, My Shepherd, who will see me through.

Amen.

You wash my sin clean

Amen. That is the beautiful, foundational truth of our redemption. Here is a poem celebrating that cleansing grace.

---

You Wash Me Clean

You wash my sin clean, Not with water from a stream, But with a flood of crimson grace, That pours from Your own holy face.

You scrub the stain no soap could touch, You love and forgive me oh so much. You take the guilt that clings like grime, And make me new, time after time. “Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin!”(Psalm 51:2)

The deepest dye, the darkest mark, Is vanished, gone into the dark. Now whiter than the winter snow, Is how Your perfect eyes see me now. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.”(Isaiah 1:18)

This is the miracle of the cross, To see my sin and count it loss, To trade my filth for righteousness, My hopelessness for blessedness.

So I stand clean, before Your throne, Because of love I’ve always known. Not by my work, but by Your own, I am washed clean,I am Your own.

Thank you, Jesus, for the flood, For washing me in Your own blood.

Amen.

Bless is the day you adopted me.

Amen. What a beautiful and deeply personal celebration of salvation. Here is a poem honoring that sacred moment of being adopted into God's family.

The Day You Adopted Me

Blessed is the day You adopted me, When my soul,an orphan, was set free. You did not ask if I was good, You understood as no one could.

You signed the papers with Your blood, A rising, overwhelming flood Of grace that washed my name all clean, And made me part of what You mean When You say"child," when You say "heir," And took me forever into Your care. “He predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will.”(Ephesians 1:5)

You gave me Your name, a royal ring, You taught my hesitant heart to sing. You gave me a place at Your family table, A love so steadfast, always stable. “See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”(1 John 3:1)

No longer stranger, no longer alone, I found in Your heart my eternal home. The past erased, the future bright, You turned my darkness into light.

So blessed is that day, forever blessed, When in Your loving arms I found my rest. I was lost, but then I was found, On that holy, glorious ground.

Thank you, Father, for choosing me, And for that day You adopted me.

Amen.
