Praise His Name

Praise the name of the Lord our God,

The name that the demons dread,

The name engraved in ancient rock,

The name that raises the dead.

Praise Yahweh—the great I AM,

Jehovah-Jireh—our Provider true,

Jehovah-Rapha—healing Lamb,

Jehovah-Shalom—making all things new.

Praise Jesus—name of saving grace,

The One who bore our sin and shame.

At His name, every knee shall bow,

Every tongue confess His reign.

“Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.” (Psalm 148:13)

Praise the name that calmed the sea,

That opened eyes and set men free.

The name that hell could not contain—

Our victory, our eternal gain.

Let heaven shout it! Let earth proclaim!

Let every heart ignite with flame!

For there is no other name under heaven given—

No other pathway into the presence of the Living.

Praise the name of the Lord our God—

yesterday, today, forever the same.
