Amen.
What a beautiful, intimate truth—that the Creator of the universe knows you personally, calls you by name, and invites you into His love and purpose.
---
He Calls You By Name
Jesus calls us by name.
Not as a crowd, not as a mass,
But one by one, as each voice passes—
He knows the sound meant just for us.
He called Mary in the garden’s gray,
Peter by the sea, Zacchaeus in the tree.
Samuel in the temple’s quiet night,
Saul in the blinding, holy light.
And still He calls—
Through noise and through calm,
With a voice that carries heaven’s balm.
He speaks your name—
Not as the world defines,
But as He formed you in His mind.
“He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out.”(John 10:3)
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.” (Isaiah 43:1)
He calls you out of hiding,
Out of shame, out of striving.
He calls you into belonging,
Into purpose, into song-ing.
So listen today—
In the quiet, in the noise,
In the sorrow, in the joys.
Hear Him call you by name,
And answer, “Here I am.”
You are known.
You are called.
You are His.
Amen.
