Lord, I need you

 Amen.

Here is your heart's cry, met with His everlasting promise:

Lord, I Need You

Lord, I need You.

Not tomorrow, not someday soon,

But here in this moment,

In this dim room,

In this quiet, in this noise,

In this uncertainty,

I need You.

I need Your grace like the desert needs rain,

I need Your peace like the weary need rest,

I need Your strength like the frail need a stay,

I need Your presence—my only true rest.

“You, Lord, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry.”(Psalm 10:17)

I bring nothing but this empty hand,

This hungry heart, this trembling stand.

I have no wisdom, no strength of my own—

I come just as I am, and I come alone…

To You.

So here I am—needy, bare, and true.

Lord, I need You.

And in Your mercy, You say,

“I am here.

I am enough.

Today.”

Thank You for meeting me in my need,

For being the God who sees,

Who hears,

Who stays.

I am Yours.
