Thank you for Your Grace in my Life.

Amen. This is the most beautiful prayer of all—a heart overflowing with gratitude for the unmerited, unending, and unfathomable gift of God's grace. It is the acknowledgment that every good thing is a testament to His kindness, not our worthiness.

Here is a prayer and poem of thanksgiving for that precious grace.

---

The Gift I Could Not Earn

I look upon my life and see, The countless ways You’ve blessed me. Not because of good I’ve done, But through the merits of Your Son.

I deserved a judgment, a righteous frown, But instead,You gave me a royal crown. I deserved a debt I could never pay, But You poured Your grace along my way.

Thank you for Your grace in my life.

Thank You for the grace that saved my soul, That made me broken, then made me whole. The grace that called me from the dark, And left upon my life its mark.

Thank You for the grace that walks with me, When my weary eyes can scarcely see. The grace that holds me when I’m weak, And gives me the words I cannot speak.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

Thank You for the grace that covers shame, That whispers to me my true name. The grace that teaches me to forgive, And shows me how to truly live.

Thank You for the grace that’s new at dawn, That, when I stumble, is not withdrawn. The grace that disciplines and makes me grow, And loves me more than I can know.

This grace is not a one-time event, But on my life,it is ever spent. A never-ending,flowing stream, The reality behind my dream.

So I receive it once again, Not based on who I am,but then— On who You are,and what You’ve done, On the victory Your Cross has won.

Thank You for Your grace. My only plea, My hope for all eternity. Let my life be a song of praise, For Your amazing, endless grace.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Everything is possible with God

Amen. That is the bedrock of faith—the unwavering belief that God's power is limitless and His ability to act is beyond our highest imagination. The word is "possible," and it holds a universe of hope within it.

Here is a poem on that glorious truth.

---

The Realm of the Possible

What seems impossible to me, A locked door with no fitting key, A mountain that I cannot move, A problem with no solution proved…

Is merely raw material, For a God who is eternal. A simple opportunity, For His divine ability.

Everything is possible with God.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

The Red Sea parts, the sun stands still, A barren womb fulfills His will. The lions'mouths are closed up tight, The darkest grave gives up its light.

He needs no blueprint, no advice, No help to suffice,no device. He speaks and worlds leap into place, He moves and we can scarce keep pace.

So I will bring my "impossible" thing, My broken heart,my crushed-off wing, My deepest hope,my furthest dream, My dried-up,hopeless, stagnant stream.

I’ll lay it down before His throne, And leave it there, for Him alone. I will not limit what He’ll do, With power so grand, and love so true.

For what is faith, but to believe, In what our human eyes can’t perceive? To trust the hand we cannot see, And know what will be,will be.

Everything is possible for him who believes. (Mark 9:23)

So I choose to believe. I choose to stand, On the promise of His mighty hand. I enter the realm where miracles start, And give Him the impossible of my heart.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Table in the Valley of Shadow of Death

Amen. What a beautiful and profound declaration of gratitude. It shifts the focus from the terror of the valley to the provision and presence of God within it. It recognizes that even in the darkest place, God is host, protector, and provider.

Here is a poem of thanksgiving for that table in the valley.

---

The Table in the Valley

I walk a path of shadow, deep, Where fears awake and terrors creep. The valley of the deathly shade, Where light and hope seem to fade.

But here, in this most barren place, I see the evidence of grace. Not an escape, not a swift retreat, But something astonishingly sweet.

You prepare a table before me. Right here,in the presence of my enemy. You do not just guide methrough the pain, You invite me to feast in the midst of the strain.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. (Psalm 23:5)

The table is set with mercy and grace, A holy light fills this dark space. The bread is Your presence,so real and so near, The wine is Your joy, conquering fear.

My enemies—doubt, despair, and death— Watch as You give me life and breath. They see me dine, they see me blessed, While in Your perfect peace I rest.

This is the victory, this is the sign, That every shadow,You make divine. You transform the valley of suffering and loss, Into a place where I see the cross.

For on that cross, the darkest vale, Where every evil did prevail, You set a table for all to see— Your broken body, setting us free.

So thank You for this table, Lord, For every promise in Your Word. Thank You that in the shadow of death, I taste Your goodness with every breath.

My cup overflows. My heart is still. I dine by faith, upon Your will. And I am strengthened by this meal, To walk this path,Your love to feel.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

With You around, I shall not fear.

Amen. This is a powerful declaration of faith, not in our own courage, but in the presence and promise of God. It is a choice to stand on what is true rather than what is felt.

Here is a poem and affirmation of that fearless trust.

---

The Anthem of the Fearless

I shall not fear the terror of the night, Nor the arrow that flies by day in its flight. I shall not fear the pestilence in the gloom, Nor the destruction that would my faith consume.

I shall not fear.

This is no boast of my own might, But a stand in Your unending light. It is not that the threats are small or gone, But that I am held by the Great I AM.

So we say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can mere mortals do to me?” (Hebrews 13:6)

When anxiety rises and whispers lie, When the"what ifs" gather in a stormy sky, I will speak Your name,a mighty shield, And to Your perfect love,I will yield.

For fear has no place where Your love resides, It cowers and flees,in Your presence it hides. You have not given a spirit of fear, But of power, and love, and a mind that is clear.

For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline. (2 Timothy 1:7)

I shall not fear the future's unknown way, For You are the God of today. I shall not fear the opinions of men, For my life is hidden in You,Amen.

I shall not fear the weakness I see, For Your strength is made perfect in me. I shall not fear the battle's loud roar, For the victory is Yours, forevermore.

So let this be my constant song, As through the valley I walk along: I shall not fear, for You are here. My Protector,my Savior, ever near.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Bring me under your wings.

This is one of the most tender and trusting images in all of Scripture—a plea to be sheltered in the intimate, protective presence of God. It speaks of a desire for safety, comfort, and nearness.

Here is a prayer and poem to express that deep longing.

---

Under Your Wings

The world is loud, and I am small, I hear the tempest,I feel the squall. I need a place to hide away, Until the breaking of the day.

I need a refuge, safe and warm, A shelter from the coming storm. Not just a roof,or walls of stone, But a presence that is all my own.

So I come to You, with this request, To where the weary are given rest. Put me under Your wings.

He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. (Psalm 91:4)

Let me hide in the shadow of Your grace, In that secret, holy place. Where the noise of fear cannot come in, And where healing can begin.

Tuck me in, close to Your side, Where all my anxieties subside. Let me feel the gentle rise and fall Of Your great heart, that holds my all.

Under Your wings, I am not alone, You claim me as Your very own. The foe may look, but cannot see The child You are protecting,Me.

Here, I find warmth against the cold, A love more precious far than gold. Here,I find peace instead of fight, And strength emerging from the night.

So pull me close, and hold me near, And quiet every trembling fear. I am under Your wings. And here,my soul, in safety sings.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Victory in the tempest.

Amen. This is a powerful plea for victory and peace in the midst of life's most turbulent times. It echoes the cry of the disciples in the boat, not just for the storm to cease, but for the faith to endure and triumph through it.

Here is a prayer and poem to declare victory over the tempest.

---

Victory in the Tempest

The tempest rages, wild and deep, It threatens to disrupt our sleep. It howls with fear,it pounds with doubt, And tries to blow our hope right out.

We feel so small against its power, In this relentless, trying hour. The waves crash over, cold and stark, But in the dark,we see a spark.

Let us overcome this tempest in our lives.

Not by our strength, or frantic trying, Not by our weeping,or our sighing. But by the faith that holds Your hand, And trusts the One who commands the land.

He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. (Psalm 107:29-30)

You are the Lord who walks the waves, The One who saves, the One who saves. You speak directly to the gale, And tell the fearful wind,“Prevail no more!”

So let that same word rise in us, A faith that stands without a fuss. A calm assurance in the breast, That in Your promise,we are blessed.

Help us to overcome not by sight, But by standing firm in Your great might. To find our peace not in the calm, But in the safety of Your palm.

Let this tempest prove our anchor holds, A story of Your grace retold. Let us not just survive the night, But walk in overcoming light.

Lead us through to the other side, With deeper faith, and nothing to hide. Where we can say,“The storm is past, And Your great faithfulness held fast.”

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray,

Amen.

Help us overcome the storm in our lives.

Amen. This is a cry for peace and deliverance in the midst of turmoil. Storms can be external circumstances or internal fears, but the prayer is the same: for the presence and power of the One who commands even the wind and the waves.

Here is a prayer and poem to anchor you in the storm.

---

The Calm in Our Chaos

The winds are high, the waves are tall, They threaten to overwhelm us all. The sky is dark, the hope seems dim, We lift our weary eyes to Him.

We cannot still this gale ourselves, Or save our sinking selves from shelves Of water crashing, deep and cold— A story that is old,yet newly told.

Help us overcome the storm in our lives.

Not by removing it outright, But by revealing Your great might Withinthe storm. Be our calm, Be our peace, our healing balm.

He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. (Psalm 107:29-30)

Speak to the fears that rage inside, “Peace,be still,” and there abide. Remind us that the boat You’re in Will never let the waters win.

You are the Lord of every squall, You see the beginning and end of all. This tempest does not take You by surprise, It’s seen by Your all-knowing eyes.

So help us fix our gaze on You, And trust the work You’re going to do. Whether You calm the sea or hold us tight, You are our anchor in the night.

Give us the faith to truly see That we are safe, for You are we. Help usovercome by simply resting, In Your promise,ever-lasting.

Lead us through to the other side, Where in Your faithfulness we abide. Where we look back upon the roar, And love and trust You even more.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray,

Amen.

You are the rock of our faith.

Amen. That is a powerful declaration of truth. To call God our Rock is to declare His unchanging nature, His strength, His permanence, and the absolute security we have in Him. It is a foundation that cannot be shaken.

Here is a poem on that steadfast truth.

---

The Unshaken Ground

When shifting sands of doubt appear, And everything I hold is fear, When feelings lie and truths seem vague, And all my weary steps must lag…

I plant my feet on solid stone, A foundation I have always known. Not an idea,a hope, a whim, But sure, strong, grounded deep in Him.

You are the Rock of our faith.

You are the bed-rock, sure and deep, On which eternal promises keep. You are the cliff, our strong defense, Our sure and mighty recompense.

Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. (Psalm 62:6)

When storms of life around me roar, And waves beat hard upon the shore, When winds of change try to prevail, Your constant strength will never fail.

You do not move. You do not shift. You are the everlasting gift. In every age,You are the same, The great I AM,the powerful name.

Our faith is not in faith itself, Not in our wealth or mental health. It is not in a circumstance, It’s in the steady, sure, firm glance…

…We turn to You, the Cornerstone, The One who can and will atone. The first and last, the end, beginning, The solid rock on which we’re winning.

So let my life be built on You, In everything I say and do. Let every other ground be sod, But this:You are the Rock of our God.

He is the Rock, his works are perfect, and all his ways are just. A faithful God who does no wrong, upright and just is he. (Deuteronomy 32:4)

We cry "Abba, Father"

That cry, "Abba, Father," is one of the most intimate and powerful expressions of faith. It is the cry of a child, trusting and desperate, running to a loving Parent. It is the Spirit Himself within us, calling out to God.

Here is a poem and prayer for that deep, heartfelt cry.

---

The Cry of the Child

Not to a distant, watching king, But to my Father,I now bring The ache that has no other word, The sound my spirit long has heard.

Abba, Father… The name a trusting child would speak, When comfort’s all they need and seek. It is the cry of helpless trust, When hope is crumbling into dust.

We cry for You. Not just for things, But for the peace Your presence brings. For the assurance that You’re near, To hold us close and calm our fear.

The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.” (Romans 8:15)

We cry for You with groans too deep, When promises seem hard to keep. When answers tarry, and the night Seems to have swallowed up the light.

We cry for You, our one true home, When through this wilderness we roam. We cry for Your approving nod, Our Father, and our loving God.

You do not turn away or sigh, You hear the smallest, weakest cry. You bend Your ear,You know our voice, You make our trembling hearts rejoice.

You gather up our every tear, You hold us close and draw us near. You rock us in Your strong embrace, And fill us with sufficient grace.

Abba, Father, we cry for You. And in the crying,we are new. For in the asking,we receive The comfort only You can give.

You are our Father. We are Your child. On this truth,in the wildest storm, we’ll rest. Held in Your arms, upon Your breast.

In Jesus’ name.

Amen.

All Good things come from heaven above.

Of course. That is a beautiful and foundational truth, a reminder that every blessing, every good gift, has its source in the heart of a generous and loving God. It is a truth that cultivates gratitude and dispels pride.

Here is a poem on that wonderful reality.

---

The Source of Every Good

The breath I take, the morning light, The joy that makes my burden light. The love I feel, the truth I know, The grace that helps my spirit grow.

I must not think they come by chance, Or from my own proud circumstance. They are not earned, they are not bought, But from a higher heaven brought.

All good things come from heaven above, From Your eternal heart of love. You are the fountain, deep and clear, The source of every good gift here.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. (James 1:17)

The wisdom to discern the way, The strength to live another day. The peace that stills the anxious soul, Making a broken spirit whole.

The kindness of a faithful friend, A helping hand,a means to mend. The beauty of the earth and sky, A reflection of Your glory high.

All goodness points back to Your throne, You make Your loving kindness known. In every blessing, great and small, You are the Giver of them all.

So let my heart be swift to praise, And grateful for these gifted days. Not clinging to the gift itself, But to the God of endless wealth.

For You alone are truly good, This is the truth, this is my food. And every gift You send my way, Is simply meant my heart to say…

Thank You, Father, source of love, For every good from heaven above.

Don't lead me into temptations

Of course. I understand the heart of your prayer. You are referencing the Lord's Prayer, but with a poignant and personal twist. The original phrase is, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil." (Matthew 6:13). Your prayer, "Don't lead me from temptations," speaks to a deep desire not to avoid the battle, but to be strengthened and proven within it. It is a prayer for courage and steadfastness.

Here is a poem and prayer for that brave and trusting heart.

---

The Prayer for the Fire

Some pray for a path that is easy and smooth, For a gentle removal of all that can prove That their faith is a force, that their love is real— But a different cry now my heart does feel.

Don't lead me from temptations, As if I were too weak to stand. But lead methrough them, holding my hand. Don't spare me the fight, the struggle, the test, But let me find in You my rest.

Let me not flee from the devil's own roar, But stand firm in the faith, and love You more. Let me not avoid the refining fire, But be purified in it,by Your desire.

Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. (James 1:2-3)

So when the temptation to doubt or to fear, To choose my own way,to draw You not near, Comes like a flood, threatening and strong, Be my fortress,my victory, my song.

Equip me within it. Arm me for the hour. Reveal Your own overcoming power. Not that I would seek the test out myself, But that I wouldn't shrink back onto a shelf…

…Of safety that’s really just fear in disguise. I want faith that is proven, that opens my eyes To the strength of my Savior, who was tempted too, And who gives that same victory to me and to you.

Because he himself suffered when he was tempted, he is able to help those who are being tempted. (Hebrews 2:18)

So I ask not for escape, but for endurance to win. For a faith that is stronger for the battle within. Don't lead me from temptations, Lord, make me strong. Let me prove that Your grace has been there all along.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Protect me from evil

This is the very prayer Jesus taught us to pray—a plea for deliverance from the evil one and all his schemes. It is a prayer for spiritual, physical, and moral protection.

Here is a prayer and poem for that divine safeguarding.

---

From the Evil One

The evil lurks, it prowls, it waits, It whispers at the narrow gates. It seeks to kill,to steal, to lie, To dim the light within my eye.

But I am Yours, and You are strong, To You,my God, my soul belongs. You are my shield,my mighty tower, My source of overcoming power.

Protect me from evil.

Deliver me from the evil one’s hand, From his destructive, dark command. From his temptations, subtle, deep, That lure Your wandering sheep.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. (Matthew 6:13)

Guard my heart from his deceit, From bitter and accusing thoughts. Guard my mind from his defeat, The battles he has often fought.

Put a hedge of thorns around my way, So I will never from You stray. Let no evil plan succeed, Upon my life, upon my seed.

Cover me with the blood of Christ, The perfect,all-sufficient price. Let it be a sign,a seal, That proves Your promise, strong and real.

I put on the armor You supply, To stand against the arrows that fly. The belt of truth, the shield of faith, To fight the fight until my death.

Protect me from evil, Lord, I pray. Not just for this, but every day. Hold me secure within Your hand, ’Til in Your promised land I stand.

In Jesus’ mighty name,

Amen.

Protect me from danger.

This is a fundamental and heartfelt prayer, a cry for safety and security in the care of our powerful and loving God. It is a prayer He hears and answers.

Here is a prayer and poem for divine protection.

---

The Sure Defense

The world holds seen and unseen harm, A voice of trouble,a loud alarm. I cannot see around the bend, Or know what dangers may descend.

But I can know the One who sees, Who moves upon the troubled breeze. The One who never slumbers, sleeps, A vow for His beloved keeps.

Protect me from danger.

Guard my going out, my coming in, From hidden snare, from blatant sin. Be a shield about my way, By night and also by the day.

The Lord will keep you from all harm— he will watch over your life; the Lord will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore. (Psalm 121:7-8)

Protect my body, keep it safe, From any peril I may face. Protect my mind from fearful thought, The battles that are inward fought.

Protect my heart from lies and scorn, And keep my spirit newly born. Protect my steps from paths that stray, And lead me in Your perfect way.

I do not ask for no trial or test, But for Your presence through the rest. I do not ask to never know fear, But to know that You are ever near.

So be my fortress and my rock, My steady ground,my constant lock. My hiding place,my refuge strong, My victory,my hopeful song.

I place myself within Your hand, And in Your promise I will stand. You are my protector, now and always.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

Bless me with Mercy Journey.

This is a beautiful and humble request—not just for blessings of ease, but for the gift of God's mercy to mark your entire life's path. It acknowledges that the journey itself is a classroom of grace.

Here is a prayer and poem for your mercy journey.

---

The Mercy Road

I do not ask for a path of ease, That only serves myself to please. I do not ask for skies always blue, With nothing difficult to do.

I ask for something far more deep, A promise You are sworn to keep. I ask that from this day, until my end, Your mercy would my path attend.

Bless me with a mercy journey.

Let Your mercy go before me, A guide to open every door for me. Let Your mercy walk beside me, A constant friend,to guard and guide me.

Let Your mercy be behind me, A grace that lovingly reminds me That every failure, fault, and fall Is covered by Your love for all.

Surely your goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Psalm 23:6)

On days of strength, let mercy be My humble song,so willingly. On days I stumble, lost and faint, Let mercy be my one complaint—

My cry for help, my only plea, That draws Your kind heart unto me. In every joy,and every sorrow, Let me borrow mercy for tomorrow.

Let this journey tell a tale, Where mercy’s love did never fail. Where every mile, both sharp and sweet, Was paved by mercy’s wounded feet.

So bless me, Father, I now pray, On this,my journey, day by day. Not with just gifts, but with Your face, And Your everlasting, mercy grace.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

Please work miracles in my life.

Of course. This is a cry for divine intervention—a plea for God to move in a way that defies natural explanation and reveals His power and glory in your situation. It is a prayer of faith and surrender.

Here is a prayer and poem for that desperate and hopeful request.

---

The Unlikely Place

I stand before a sea, a wall, A mountain that is far too tall. I see the need,I feel the lack, There is no turning, turning back.

My own resources are all spent, On efforts that are heaven-sent But seem to fall on stony ground, Where no solution can be found.

So I come to You, the God of the impossible, The One whose power is unstoppable. The One who parts the raging sea, And makes a way for even me.

Work a miracle in my life.

Not for my glory or my fame, But to magnify Your holy name. Not just to give me my desire, But to refine me in Your fire.

Work it in the hidden place, Where no one else can see my face But Yours. The quiet, desperate plea That rises from the deepest me.

Work it in the situation, That defies all explanation. Where doctors shrug, and finances fail, And every human effort’s frail.

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:26)

Work it with Your mighty hand, Across this broken, weary land Of my own heart.Perform the sign, Make Your power and mercy mine.

I ask for what I cannot do, I place my trust alone in You. I bring the pieces, broken, small, And ask for You to be my All.

I may not see the how or when, But I believe in You.Amen. I’ll watch and wait and hope and pray, For Your miracle today.

In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray.

Amen.

Abba Father, I cry to you.

Of course. This cry, "Abba, Father," is one of the most intimate and powerful prayers in all of Scripture. It is the cry of a child, trusting and desperate, running to a loving Parent. It is the Spirit Himself within us, calling out to God.

Here is a prayer and poem for that deep, heartfelt cry.

Blood of Jesus Cover me.

Amen. This is a powerful prayer of protection, redemption, and surrender. Here is a response in the form of a prayer and declaration.

---

Cover Me

Blood of Jesus, cover me. A shield of grace for all to see. Not my worth, but Yours alone, Around my life,a crimson zone.

Cover my mind from thoughts of fear, From lies I’ve believed, year after year. Cover my heart from pride and sin, Make me brand new, again, within. “The blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.”(1 John 1:7)

Cover my past, its guilt and shame, I speak the power of Your name. Cover my path, ahead, behind, In Your perfect will, let me be defined.

When the enemy speaks and accuses me, I point to the blood that set me free. He cannot stand before its power, In my weakest, darkest hour. “They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb.”(Revelation 12:11)

Blood of Jesus, cover me. My plea,my trust, my victory. A sign upon my heart and home, ’Til You,my Lord, finally call me home.

I am covered. I am clean. I am Yours.

Amen.

I leave my peace with you.

Amen. To receive and acknowledge this gift of peace is a sacred trust. Here is a response, accepting and honoring that blessing.

---

I Receive Your Peace

I receive the peace You leave with me, Not as the world gives, temporarily, But as a settled, holy calm, A healing and a sovereign balm. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”(John 14:27)

I will not let my heart be troubled, Though the waves may roar and rise. I will not let fear win the battle, I'll trust the promise in Your eyes.

This peace will stand as sentry guard, Over my mind and over my heart. A constant, gentle, firm reminder, That in Your love,I take my part.

So I receive this gift so deep, A promise You will always keep. And I will,in Your strength, endeavor, To share this peace with others ever.

Thank you for Your peace. It is my portion and my stay.

Amen.

Protect me from evil.

This is a prayer we all need to pray every day. Here is a prayer for protection, grounded in the faithfulness of God.

---

Protect Me From Evil

Protect me from evil, O Lord, I pray, The evil without, and within today. The seen and the unseen, the cunning, the crude, From every intention and attitude.

Be my strong fortress, my shield, and my light, My guard in the day,and my watch in the night. When the predator prowls, seeking to devour, Be my salvation,my refuge, my power. “Deliver us from the evil one.”(Matthew 6:13)

Plant my feet firmly on Your solid rock, Let me not falter or gape at the shock Of the enemy’s schemes or his hollow display— Remind me You’ve triumphed and won the great day.

Protect not just my body, but my mind and my heart, Let Your truth and Your holiness seal every part. Let no foul thing find any place to abide, As in the shadow of Your wings,I hide. “But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.”(2 Thessalonians 3:3)

I put on the armor Your word has supplied, In Your strength alone, will I firmly abide. I take up the shield of unyielding, strong faith, And trust in Your promise,my life and my breath.

Protect me from evil, my Savior, my King, And under Your authority, safety I sing.

Amen.

You know the ending before the beginning.

Amen. That is a breathtaking attribute of God—His complete sovereignty and foreknowledge. It is the foundation of our trust. Here is a poem on that awe-inspiring truth.

---

The End and The Beginning

Before the first light pierced the dark, Before the soaring skylark’s song, Before the foundation was set and laid, The final chapter, the story’s end, Was already perfectly made. “I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come.”(Isaiah 46:9-10)

You see my end from my first breath, You knew my life,my path, my death. You see the moment I’ll be whole, Standing complete before my goal.

No twist of fate can catch You by surprise, No broken plan reflects in Your eyes. No chaos reigns beyond Your control, You are the Author of my soul.

This is my comfort in the storm, My fragile heart You will keep warm. For if You know how it will end, Then on Your wisdom I depend.

You are the Alpha and Omega, true, The beginning and the end for me and You. So I will trust this journey’s plot, The things I know, and those I do not.

For You who know the end so well, Walk with me through this fleeting dell. And what You’ve written,it is good, I’m understood, and understood.

I rest in You, whose sight is clear, Who holds my future, calm and near.

Amen.
