My Jesus, My Saviour
My Jesus, my Saviour—there is no other name
That holds the weight of glory, yet bears my sin and shame.
You are the God who fashioned me,who knew me from the start,
Yet You became the offering that mended this broken heart.
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16)
You are the Word that spoke the dawn, the Light no dark could quell,
Yet in the silent tomb,You fought and conquered death and hell.
My Jesus,my Redeemer, the anchor for my soul,
The one who makes the wounded spirit finally whole.
You are my strong deliverer, my fortress and my shield,
The source of every promise, the power that makes me yield
Not to fear or failure, but to Your victorious grace,
That meets me in my weakness and shows me Your face.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
So I declare it now, aloud, with every breath I own:
You are my Jesus, my Saviour—my King upon the throne.
My past is in Your mercy,my future in Your hand,
My present held securely in the promise of Your stand.
My Jesus, my Saviour—
My beginning and my end.
My dearest Lord and Brother,
My everlasting Friend.
Amen.
