I Worship You, Mighty God
I worship You, mighty God.
With all that I am and all I will be,
My spirit bows in humility.
Not just with words that rise and fade,
But with a life Your hands have made.
I worship the strength that carved the canyon’s deep,
Thepower that wakes the sun from sleep.
I worship theauthority in Your whisper that calms the sea,
And thesovereignty that holds a future meant for me.
The Lord reigns, he is robed in majesty; the Lord is robed in majesty and armed with strength. (Psalm 93:1)
I worship the might displayed upon the cross—
Where victory was won through utter loss.
The power that could summon legions from the air,
Yet chose for love my heavy weight to bear.
I worship You, Mighty King, before whom nations stand or fall.
I worship You,Mighty Savior, who heard my desperate call.
I worship You,Mighty Spirit, who breathes in me Your flame.
There is no other name worthy of this praise I claim.
So take this worship, as imperfect as it seems.
Let it join the eternal, everlasting streams
That flow before Your throne, day and night.
I worship You, Mighty God—my strength, my life, my light.
Amen.

Prayer Posture: Worship in Spirit and Truth
True worship of a mighty God involves both awe and intimacy. Here is how you can posture your heart:
· Worship in Awe: Recognize His transcendent might—His power over creation, history, and all powers (Colossians 1:16-17). This fills worship with holy reverence.
· Worship in Intimacy: Remember His immanent care—this same mighty God knows you, loves you, and invites you to call Him Father (Romans 8:15). This fills worship with loving trust.
· Worship in Surrender: True worship is offering your whole self—your will, your burdens, your dreams—to His mighty and good hands (Romans 12:1). It is saying, "You are strong; I am not. You are God; I am Yours."
When you declare "I worship You, mighty God," you are aligning your entire being—spirit, soul, and body—with the ultimate reality of who He is. It is the most truthful and fitting response a human heart can make.
