 I Will Never Cease

I will never cease to worship You.

Let this be the vow my heart beats,my final breath confirms,

The single,constant anthem through which all my living turns.

Not just when the music swells in moments set apart,

But in the quiet rhythm of my most obedient heart.

From the first light of morning until the day is through,

In joy’s unburdened laughter,in prayers when skies are gray,

In the act of kindness,in the simple, whispered “Yes,”

My life will be an offering of ceaseless thankfulness.

Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples. For great is his love toward us, and the faithfulness of the Lord endures forever. Praise the Lord. (Psalm 117:1-2)

When my voice grows weary and my body finds its rest,

Let my spirit in Your presence be a worshiping guest.

For I join a choir that no silence can defeat—

The saints and angels worshiping around the mercy seat.

Day and night they never stop saying: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.” (Revelation 4:8)

So take my forever, Lord, and let it be a song—

A single,endless worship, my whole life long.

For You alone are worthy,from now until I see

Your face in full,and know as I am known, eternally.

I will never cease.

My love, my song, my story, is You.
