Holy, Holy, God Almighty

 Holy, Holy, God Almighty

Holy, Holy, Holy.

The ceaseless cry that shakes the temple’s frame,

The seraph’s anthem,echoing Your name.

God Almighty—Lord of Hosts,the great I AM,

Before whose glory heaven veils its face in awe and stammer.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of his glory.” (Isaiah 6:3)

Your holiness is not one trait among the rest,

But the blazing, pure essence of how You are best.

A consuming fire,unapproachable in light,

Yet drawing near to dwell in those made clean and bright.

Holy in Your justice—perfect, right, and true.

Holyin Your mercy—making all things new.

Holyin Your power—that spoke the world to be.

Holyin Your love—that went to Calvary.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.” (Revelation 4:8)

The fourfold creature and the elders cast their crowns,

As every knee in heaven and earth in wonder bows.

There is none like You,no rival to Your throne,

Eternal,sovereign, worshiped, and alone.

So let my life be one unending, trembling praise,

For all my days and through eternal days.

Holy, Holy, God Almighty—be my fear,my love, my all,

Until before Your holiness,in worship, I fall.

Amen.
