Jesus, You are my everything.

My first thought in the morning,my last song in the night.

My reason for breathing,my victory, my fight.

You are thesun that lights my path when shadows crowd the air.

You are thewater for my soul, the answer to my prayer.

You are my hope when despair would write its story on my heart.

You are myjoy when every other pleasure would depart.

You are mypeace in every storm that threatens to undo.

You are mystrength when I have nothing, Lord, but You.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

You are my righteousness when all my goodness fails the test.

You are myanchor in the flood, my everlasting rest.

You are myfriend when loneliness would wrap me in its chain.

You are myKing whose perfect love will ever, ever reign.

You are my bread in hunger, my fountain in the drought.

You are thetruth I build on when my world is filled with doubt.

You are thelife that conquered death, the word that spoke the dawn.

You are myeverything—and when all else is gone,

You will remain.

In him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28)

So take my everything, my Jesus. Let it all be Yours alone.

My past,my future, all I have and am, before Your throne.

For if I haveYou, I have all that I could ever need.

Jesus, You are my everything.

This is my life and creed.
