My Provider.

 My Provider

My Provider.

You are not a distant source of distant things,

But the present, personal God from whom all blessing springs.

The One who sees the need before it finds a name,

And in Your perfect timing, always answers just the same.

You are the Spring in the desert, where no water should be found.

TheManna in the morning, covering the barren ground.

TheRam in the thicket, caught where I could not see—

Jehovah-Jireh—You have always provided for me.

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)

You provide the bread for my body’s hunger here,

And theBread of Life for my soul, to banish every fear.

You clothe me with righteousness,a garment pure and white,

And wrap me in Your faithfulness,my portion and my might.

So I will trust You for the daily—for the tangible, the true.

And I will trust You for theeternal—for the life I have in You.

For if You gave Your greatest Gift,Your Son upon the tree,

Will You not also, with Him, provide all good things for me?

He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? (Romans 8:32)

My Provider.

My constant source.My enough.

My story of grace when the road has been rough.

In want or in plenty, this truth I will sing:

My God will provide. My God is my King.

Amen.

This name, Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord Will Provide), first declared by Abraham on Mount Moriah (Genesis 22:14), reveals God's nature. It shows that His provision is often at the point of our obedience and surrender. He does not just give gifts; He gives Himself. To call Him "My Provider" is to declare a lifetime of trust in His faithful character, believing that the God who gave His own Son will surely meet every need according to His glorious riches.
