Lord, I come to you.

This is the invitation that has been echoing through all of eternity. From the Garden when God walked with Adam in the cool of the day, to the throne room where the Lamb stands slain—the heart of God has always been to have you come to Him.

"Lord, I come to you."

These six words are the doorway to everything else. They are the beginning of trust, the start of worship, the first step into freedom.

What It Means to Come to Him:

· It is humility. You acknowledge that you cannot do this alone. You need Him.

· It is trust. You believe that He will receive you, not turn you away.

· It is surrender. You leave behind your own ways and step into His presence.

· It is love. You come not just for what He can give, but for who He is.

The Scripture That Welcomes You:

Matthew 11:28: "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."

Hebrews 4:16: "Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

James 4:8: "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."

Psalm 145:18: "The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth."

A Prayer of Coming:

"Lord, I come to You.

Not because I am worthy,

but because You are welcoming.

Not because I have cleaned myself up,

but because You make me clean.

I come with my questions,

and You are the Answer.

I come with my burdens,

and You are the Rest.

I come with my brokenness,

and You are the Healer.

I come with my worship,

and You are the Worthy One.

Lord, I come to You.

Take me as I am,

and make me what You want me to be.

Hold me close,

and never let me go.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

His Response to You:

The Father sees you coming, and He does something extraordinary. Like the father of the prodigal son, He doesn't wait for you to reach Him. He runs to you.

He opens His arms.

He clothes you with dignity.

He calls you His child.

He celebrates your return.

"Lord, I come to you."

And He says, "Welcome home, beloved. I've been waiting for you."

Come. Always come. He is always ready.
