Here is a poem of devotion and a collection of scriptures declaring that the Lord is our everything.

You Are My Everything
When I had nothing, You were all.
When I was nothing, You still called.
When I was lost and could not see,
You were my everything.
In the morning, when I rise,
You are the light before my eyes.
In the stillness, in the noise,
You are my peace, my quiet voice.
When the world offers fleeting gold,
When my hands grasp what cannot hold,
When all is vanity and vain—
You are my everything, my gain.
You are my bread when I am hungry,
My living water when I thirst.
My refuge when the storm is raging,
My first in blessing, last in curse.
You are my hope when hope is fading,
My strength when I have none to give.
My song when words are insufficient,
My reason, Lord, that I still live.
You are my Shepherd and my Guide,
My hiding place where I can hide.
My Father, Friend, my closest kin—
You are my everything.
And when this life has passed away,
When shadows flee before the day,
I'll have no need for anything—
For You are my everything.

A Prayer of Devotion
Lord Jesus,
You are my everything.
When I had nothing,
You were my riches.
When I was lost,
You were my way.
When I was dead in sin,
You were my life.
You are the air I breathe,
the bread I eat,
the water I drink.
You are my hope in the morning,
my peace in the evening,
my strength for the journey.
I have no good apart from You.
My hands are empty without Yours.
My heart is restless until it rests in You.
You are my Shepherd,
my Provider,
my Healer,
my Redeemer,
my Friend,
my King.
And when this life is over,
when all else fades away,
I will still have You—
and You are more than enough.
You are my everything,
now and forever.
In Your precious name,
Amen.
