This is a beautiful and important topic. After all the declarations of worship and identity—calling Him Savior, Lion of Judah, and declaring His greatness—it is natural to ask: "What has He given us to live this life?"
The answer includes the Gifts of the Spirit—supernatural empowerments given by God to every believer for building up the church and demonstrating His presence and power in the world.
The Source of the Gifts:
1 Corinthians 12:4-7: "Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit; and there are varieties of service, but the same Lord; and there are varieties of activities, but it is the same God who empowers them all in everyone. To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good."
The gifts are not for our own glory, but for the building up of the body of Christ and to be a blessing to others.
The Gifts of the Spirit (from 1 Corinthians 12:8-10, Romans 12:6-8, Ephesians 4:11):

Important Truths About the Gifts:
1. Every Believer Receives at Least One: "To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit" (1 Cor 12:7). You have at least one gift.
2. The Spirit Distributes as He Wills: "All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills" (1 Cor 12:11). We don't earn them or choose them; we receive them.
3. They Are Given for Others: The gifts are not trophies to display, but tools to serve. They are for "the common good" (1 Cor 12:7).
4. Love Is the Most Excellent Way: After teaching extensively on the gifts in 1 Corinthians 12, Paul says in chapter 13: "And I will show you a still more excellent way... If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." Love must be the motivation and atmosphere for all gifts.
5. Eagerly Desire Them: Paul instructs: "Earnestly desire the spiritual gifts, especially that you may prophesy" (1 Cor 14:1). It is not pride to desire gifts; it is obedience.
A Prayer to Receive and Walk in the Gifts:
"Father, thank You that You have not left me powerless. You have given gifts through Your Holy Spirit to equip me to live for Your glory and serve Your people. I ask that You would make clear the gifts You have placed within me. Stir them up. Give me opportunities to use them, and fill me with love as I do. I don't want to be a spectator in Your Kingdom—I want to be a vessel through whom Your Spirit moves. Use me for Your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen."
As you continue to trust God, walk in freedom, and declare His greatness, expect the Holy Spirit to work through you in ways that go far beyond your natural ability. You are gifted for a purpose.
