Here is a poem of surrender and a collection of scriptures celebrating the truth that we have been bought and belong to Christ.

Bought with a Price
I am not my own, I never was—
I wandered in the dark,
Chasing shadows, grasping straws,
A ship without a mark.
But You, O Lord, sought me out,
Through wilderness and wild.
You paid a price beyond all doubt—
The precious blood of a Child.
Not silver, not gold, not wealth untold,
Not anything I could bring,
But the life of the Lamb, so pure, so bold,
The suffering of my King.
You bought me with a price—Your life,
Laid down upon the tree.
You took my sin, my shame, my strife,
And set this captive free.
So now I live not for myself,
But for the One who died.
For Christ alone, my greatest wealth,
My Savior, crucified.
My body is a temple now,
Your Spirit dwells within.
I bow my life, I make this vow—
To honor You and not to sin.
Bought with a price, redeemed and sealed,
No longer bound by chains.
My heart, my mind, my hands, my will—
All Yours for all my days.

"You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of human beings." (1 Corinthians 7:23)
Redeemed with Precious Blood:

A Prayer of Surrender
Lord Jesus,
I am Yours.
You sought me when I was lost.
You bought me with the most precious price—
Your own life poured out for me.
I am not my own.
I belong to You.
My body is a temple of Your Spirit,
My life is a vessel for Your glory.
Take me, Lord, and use me.
Every breath, every step, every word—
Let it be for You.
I live not for myself,
But for the One who died and rose again.
You bought me with a price,
And I will honor You with all I am.
In Your precious name,
Amen.
