Here is a poem of celebration and a collection of scriptures praising the One who has set us free.

Praise the One Who Set Me Free
Praise the One who set me free,
From chains that bound so tightly.
From sin and shame and misery,
He lifted me so brightly.
Praise the One who broke the locks,
Shattered every prison door.
He led me from the darkest rocks,
To freedom's shining shore.
No longer slave to fear or guilt,
No longer bound by yesterday.
His blood upon the cross was spilt,
To wash my stains away.
The chains fell off, the weight was gone,
The grave could not contain Him.
And I who was so far withdrawn,
Now run to praise His name.
Praise the One who set me free—
Not by my strength or power,
But by His love that covers me,
In every trial's hour.
So let my soul arise and sing,
With every tribe and tongue.
For Jesus Christ, my Lord, my King,
Has freed me from the wrong.
And if the Son has set me free,
Then free indeed I am.
For all eternity,
I'll praise the great I AM.

A Prayer of Praise for Freedom
My Lord and my God,
I lift my voice in praise!
You have set me free—
from sin's grip,
from shame's weight,
from fear's chains,
from death's shadow.
I was imprisoned,
but You broke down the walls.
I was bound,
but You shattered the chains.
I was lost,
but You found me.
Now I walk in freedom—
not a license to sin,
but a liberty to love,
a freedom to serve,
a life of joy in Your presence.
Praise the One who set me free!
Let my life be a song of thanksgiving,
my hands instruments of Your grace,
my feet carriers of Your good news.
For I am free indeed—
because the Son has set me free.
In Your precious name,
Amen.
