Trust God.

 That is a powerful and life-giving declaration.

Building on Psalm 118:8, choosing to trust God is an active decision to shift your weight off of circumstances and human limitations and onto His unchanging character.

When you choose to trust God, you are choosing to believe that:

· His plans are good, even when you cannot see the outcome (Jeremiah 29:11).

· His strength is made perfect in your weakness, so you don't have to rely on your own ability (2 Corinthians 12:9).

· He is faithful, even when people let you down or situations change (Lamentations 3:22-23).

Unlike human beings, who have limitations, changing emotions, or conflicting agendas, God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Trusting Him means resting in the fact that He sees the bigger picture, He fights for you, and His love for you is unfailing.

May you feel His peace and presence today as you place your trust in Him.
