Victory over evil.

 Amen. "Victory over evil" is the declaration of every child of God—the confident assurance that through Jesus Christ, we are not victims, but victors. Evil may rage, but it cannot overcome us, for greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. The battle is real, but the victory is already won.

🛡️ What Victory Over Evil Means

This Victory Means... Because... A Scripture to Hold

Evil Will Not Prevail It may attack, but it cannot overcome us. "The evil one cannot harm them." (1 John 5:18)

We Are Protected God keeps us safe in His care. "The One who was born of God keeps them safe." (1 John 5:18)

We Overcome Through faith, we are more than conquerors. "This is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith." (1 John 5:4)

Evil Is Defeated The enemy has already been defeated at the cross. "He disarmed the rulers and authorities and put them to open shame, by triumphing over them in him." (Colossians 2:15)

We Are Secure Nothing can separate us from God's love. "No weapon forged against you will prevail." (Isaiah 54:17)

✝️ The Source of Our Victory

Victory over evil does not come from our own strength—it comes from Jesus Christ. He has already defeated the enemy at the cross and through His resurrection. When we stand in Him, we stand in victory.

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." (1 Corinthians 15:57)

"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world." (John 16:33)

🙏 A Prayer for Victory

Lord Jesus,

I thank You that victory over evil is already mine in You.

You have defeated the enemy.

You have broken his power.

You have set me free.

I will not be overcome by evil—

I will overcome evil with good.

I will not be ruled by fear—

I will stand in faith.

I will not be silenced by the enemy—

I will proclaim Your victory.

Protect me from the evil one.

Cover me with Your blood.

Keep me safe in Your hand.
