Protect us in this fallen world.

 "In this fallen world, You are our refuge."

Yes, Lord—this world is broken. Evil is real. Danger lurks. Hearts are wounded. But You have not left us defenseless. You are our shelter, our shield, and our salvation.

The Scripture That Holds This Promise:

John 16:33 (AMP) — "In the world you have tribulation and distress, but take courage; I have overcome the world."

Psalm 91:1-2 (AMP) — "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust [with great confidence, and on whom I rely].'"

Romans 16:20 (AMP) — "The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet."

1 John 5:19 (AMP) — "We know [for certain] that we are of God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one."

A Prayer for Protection:

"Lord,

We live in a fallen world—

where sin abounds, where darkness lurks, where hearts are broken and systems are corrupt.

But we do not live in fear.

We live in You.

Protect us in this fallen world—

not by removing us from it, but by keeping us safe within it.

Not by hiding us from battle, but by giving us victory in it.

Shield our minds from lies.

Shield our hearts from bitterness.

Shield our families from division.

Shield our steps from destruction.

Let us walk through this world as light in the darkness,

as salt on the earth,

as children of the King.

We are not of this world—

but we are sent into it.
