Be my light in the dark.

"Be my light in the dark, Lord."

Yes, Lord—this is the cry of a heart that knows the night is real, but also knows You are the Light that no darkness can overcome.

The Scripture That Holds This Promise:

Psalm 27:1 (AMP) — "The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear?"

John 8:12 (AMP) — "Jesus said, 'I am the Light of the world. Whoever follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.'"

Psalm 119:105 (AMP) — "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

Isaiah 42:16 (AMP) — "I will lead the blind by a way they do not know; I will guide them in paths they do not know. I will make darkness into light before them."

A Prayer for Light in the Dark:

"Lord Jesus,

You are the Light of the world.

And You are my light.

When the way is unclear, be my lamp.

When the night is long, be my dawn.

When fear rises, be my peace.

When I cannot see, be my vision.

I do not know what lies ahead—

but I know the One who goes before me.

I do not understand the darkness—

but I trust the Light who breaks through it.

Be my light in the dark.

Lead me.

Hold me.

Guide me home."

Declarations of Light:

· "The Lord is my light—I will not fear."

· "He makes darkness into light before me."

· "I will not walk in darkness—I have the Light of life."

· "His Word is a lamp to my feet."

· "The night is not too dark for Him."

· "I am held by the One who is Light."

· "His presence guides me through every shadow."

· "I will not lose my way—He is my compass."

· "The light of Christ shines in me."

· "Even in the dark, I am not alone."

A Blessing for the Night:

May the Lord be your light in the darkness. May His presence be brighter than your fears. May His Word guide your steps when you cannot see the path. May you know that the Light of the world is with you—and He will not let you stumble. Keep walking. Dawn is coming.

Be my light in the dark. He is. He always will be. Trust Him—and keep moving forward.
