Scripture for Praying in Jesus' Name

Whatever You Ask in My Name:

"And I will do whatever you ask in My name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. You may ask Me for anything in My name, and I will do it." (John 14:13-14)

A Prayer in the Name of Jesus

Heavenly Father,

I come before You now,

not in my own worthiness,

not because of my good works,

but in the precious name

of Your Son, Jesus Christ.

His name is the name above all names.

His name has opened the way to Your presence.

His name has torn the veil.

His name has silenced the accuser.

So I pray with confidence,

not because of who I am,

but because of whose I am.

I belong to Jesus,

and He has given me the right

to call upon Your name.
