Thank You, Lord.

 Thank You, Lord

A Prayer of Gratitude from Psalm 107:1 and 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Thank You, Lord—for morning light,

For strength to rise, for sleep at night.

For daily bread, for breath, for grace,

For mercy written on my face.

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. (Psalm 107:1)

Thank You for the cross You bore,

The empty grave, the open door.

For every tear You wipe away,

For hope that greets the darkest day.

For valleys deep and mountains high,

For whispered prayers, for Your reply.

For wounds that heal, for chains that break,

For love that will not, cannot, shake.

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. (1 Thessalonians 5:18)

Thank You, Lord—not just in word,

But in the life I live, I’ve heard

Your call to gratitude and praise.

So I thank You now, through all my days.

Amen.
