Protect us from Evil.

 "Protect us from evil."

This is the prayer Jesus taught us to pray.

The Scripture That Answers:

Matthew 6:13: "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one."

2 Thessalonians 3:3: "But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one."

Psalm 121:7-8: "The Lord will keep you from all evil; he will keep your life. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore."

John 17:15: "I do not ask that you take them out of the world, but that you keep them from the evil one."

A Prayer for Protection:

"Lord,

Protect us from evil—

from the evil that lurks outside and the evil that whispers within.

Guard our hearts from temptation.

Shield our minds from lies.

Cover our homes from every attack of the enemy.

Deliver us from the evil one—

not by our strength, but by Your power.

Not by our vigilance, but by Your watchfulness.

Let Your angels encamp around us.

Let Your name be our strong tower.

Let Your blood be our covering.

We do not fear, for You are with us.

We do not tremble, for You are greater.

Protect us from evil—

today, tonight, and every day until we see Your face.

In Jesus' name,

Amen."

The Promise for You:

The One who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. He is faithful. He will guard you. He will not let the enemy snatch you from His hand.

Protect us from evil. He hears. He acts. He keeps you safe. Rest in His protection.
