May your favor rest upon me.

Amen. "May Your favor rest upon me" is a prayer for the tangible, undeserved kindness of God to rest upon your life—His approval, His blessing, His delight. It is the cry of a heart that knows it cannot earn His goodness, yet longs to walk under the smile of His countenance.

📖 The Scriptural Foundation

"May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands." (Psalm 90:17)

"For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield." (Psalm 5:12)

"The Lord was with Joseph and showed him steadfast love and gave him favor in the sight of the keeper of the prison." (Genesis 39:21, ESV)

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless." (Psalm 84:11)

"And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man." (Luke 2:52)

"For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)

💖 What It Means for His Favor to Rest on You

🙏 A Prayer for Favor

Father,

I come before You and ask:

May Your favor rest upon me.

Not because I deserve it,

But because You are gracious.

Not because I have earned it,

But because You are kind.

Let Your favor go before me—

Opening doors no one can shut.

Let Your favor walk beside me—

Guiding my steps in the right path.

Let Your favor come behind me—

Protecting me from harm.

Let Your favor surround me—

Like a shield of Your love.

Bless me with Your favor in my home,

In my work,

In my relationships,

In my future.

Let Your favor rest upon me,

And let me walk in the fullness of Your blessing.

"May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands." (Psalm 90:17)

In Jesus’ name,

Amen.

🕊️ A Declaration of Favor

I declare today:

The favor of the Lord rests upon me.

His blessing is upon me.

His approval is upon me.

His kindness surrounds me.

I walk in His favor.

I live in His favor.

I rest in His favor.

His favor opens doors.

His favor establishes my steps.

His favor crowns my life with goodness.

“For surely, O Lord, you bless the righteous; you surround them with your favor as with a shield.” (Psalm 5:12)

💎 A Final Encouragement

God's favor is not something you can manipulate or manufacture—it is a gift of His grace. It rests upon you because you belong to Him. It goes before you, surrounds you, and follows you. You do not have to earn it—you only have to receive it. Walk in the confidence that His favor is upon you today. He is smiling upon you.

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.” (Psalm 23:1)

May His favor rest upon you, now and always. 🙏💙🕊️
