Thank You, Lord, for every breath,

For life,for love, for conquering death.

For eyes to see the morning sun,

For battles fought and victories won.

Thank You for Your patient grace,

That meets me in this hurried place.

For quiet mercies,softly sown,

And for the love that I have known.

Thank You for the daily bread,

For words of truth my heart has read.

For comfort when the way is steep,

For promises You always keep.

Thank You for the cross You bore,

For opening heaven’s eternal door.

For being near,though out of sight,

My morning star,my guiding light.

Thank You, Lord—my all, my end,

My Savior and my dearest Friend.
