With his blood, all my sin forgiven.

With His Blood, All My Sin Forgiven

A Reflection on Ephesians 1:7, Colossians 1:14, and 1 John 1:7

With His blood, all my sin forgiven—not a drop, but a flood,

The crimson tide that washed away the curse of sin and blood.

Not silver, not gold, not the sacrifice of goats or calves,

But the precious blood of Christ, the spotless Lamb of God.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. (Ephesians 1:7)

The blood of Jesus—speaking better words than Abel’s cry,

It cries, “Forgiven, justified, forever set on high.”

No accusation can stand, no guilt can remain,

For the blood of the Lamb has broken every chain.

All my sin—the scarlet stain, the crimson thread,

The secret shame, the words I’ve said,

The thoughts that wandered, the deeds of night,

All washed away, made pure and white.

The blood of Jesus, His Son, cleanses us from all sin. (1 John 1:7)

So I stand forgiven—not by my works, but by His wound.

The verdict is "not guilty," my peace is fully found.

No memory of sin, no record left to hold,

For the blood of Jesus has turned my story gold.

With His blood, all my sin forgiven—let the accuser flee.

The debt is paid, the slate is clean, my soul is free.

I am redeemed, restored, reborn, in Christ made whole.

With His blood, all my sin forgiven—this is the Gospel of my soul.

In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:14)

Amen.
