Bless my Path.

 Bless My Path

A Prayer for Guidance from Proverbs 3:6 and Psalm 119:105

Bless my path, O Lord—the road before my feet,

The winding ways, the straight and narrow street.

Let not my steps be guided by my own small light,

But by the radiance of Your presence, day and night.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6, NKJV)

Bless the path of morning, when the day is fresh and new.

Let each decision honor You, each word and deed be true.

Bless the path of noontide, when the sun is high and hot.

Let me not grow weary, nor forget the One who bought

My soul with precious blood, my future with His grace.

Bless the path of evening, when the shadows start to fall.

Let me rest in the assurance that You have seen it all.

The twists and turns, the unexpected bends,

Are all within Your sovereign plan that never, ever ends.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. (Psalm 119:105)

Bless the path of sorrow, when the road is steep and rough.

Let me find that Your grace is sufficient, Your presence enough.

Bless the path of joy, when the meadows bloom so fair.

Let my heart give thanks, and let me know You're there.

For every path is holy when walked with You, my Guide.

No valley is too dark, no mountain too high to climb,

Because You go before me, and You stay close by my side.

Bless my path, O Lord—for every step, redeem the time.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you. (Psalm 32:8)

Amen.
