Your is the Kingdom.

 Yours Is the Kingdom

A Reflection on Matthew 6:13, 1 Chronicles 29:11, and Revelation 11:15

Yours is the kingdom—not a future, distant reign,

But a present, living power that breaks through every chain.

Not a territory mapped by human hands or swords,

But the rule of Christ within our hearts, the victory of our Lord.

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. (Matthew 6:13)

The kingdom—where the King of love has set His throne,

Where every rebel heart is captured and made His own.

It grows like a mustard seed, small and unassuming,

Yet spreads its branches wide, the weary welcoming.

Yours is the power—the same that rolled the stone away,

The power that conquers death today and every day.

Not chariots, not horses, not the weapons of the world,

But the Spirit's gentle, mighty hand, in triumph now unfurled.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor. (1 Chronicles 29:11)

Yours is the glory—not a share, not a part,

But the whole of every worship rising from the heart.

The angels cry it, the saints proclaim,

The universe resounds with Your unending name.

Forever—not a fading echo, not a passing phrase,

But the endless, ceaseless anthem through everlasting days.

When time has run its final course and stars have turned to dust,

Yours is the kingdom—in You we place our trust.

“The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Messiah, and He will reign forever and ever.” (Revelation 11:15)

Amen.
