Protect us from evil in these dark days.

Amen. "Protect us from evil in these dark days."

This is a prayer that feels the weight of the world right now. We are living in days where darkness seems to be increasing, where evil is blatant, and where the hearts of many are failing from fear. But in the middle of the darkness, the Light of the World shines brightest. And He has promised that the gates of hell will not prevail against His Church.

You are not asking to be removed from the world; you are asking to be kept from the evil one while you are in it. And that is a prayer the Father loves to answer.

"I do not ask that You take them out of the world, but that You keep them and protect them from the evil one." — John 17:15 (AMP)

A Prayer for Protection in Dark Days:

"Lord Jesus,

Protect us from evil in these dark days.

The world around us is filled with chaos, danger, and deception.

The darkness seems to grow deeper every day.

But You are the Light of the world, and the darkness cannot overcome You.

We ask You to cover us with Your blood.

We ask You to surround us with Your fire.

We ask You to hide us in the shadow of Your wings.

We ask You to command Your angels to encamp around us, our families, and our homes.

Protect us from the evil that is obvious—

and protect us from the evil that is hidden.

Protect our minds from deception.

Protect our hearts from corruption.

Protect our bodies from harm.

Protect our children from danger.

Protect our homes from intrusion.

Protect our steps from the snares of the enemy.

In these dark days, let Your light shine through us.

Let us be salt and light in a decaying and dark world.

Let us be a refuge for the hurting, a voice of truth for the confused, and a beacon of hope for the hopeless.

We are not afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day.

Because You are our refuge and our fortress.

You are our God, and in You we trust.

Keep us safe, Lord.

Keep us faithful.

Keep us close to You.

Until the day dawns and the shadows flee away.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,

Amen."
