Bring us to Holy Jerusalem.

 Amen. "Bring us to Jerusalem."

This is a prayer with profound biblical and spiritual depth. In the natural, Jerusalem is the holy city, the place where God chose to put His name, the city of the great King. In the Spirit, "Jerusalem" represents the place of God's perfect peace, His manifest presence, His worship, and His ultimate destiny for His people. To pray to be brought to Jerusalem is to pray to be brought into the fullness of God's purpose, His peace, and His presence.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May they prosper who love you [holy city]. May peace be within your walls and prosperity within your palaces.’” — Psalm 122:6-7 (AMP)

The Scripture That Points to Jerusalem:

Psalm 122:1-2 (AMP) — “I was glad when they said to me, ‘Let us go to the house of the Lord.’ Our feet are standing in your gates, O Jerusalem.”

Isaiah 62:1 (AMP) — “For Zion’s sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness and vindication go forth as brightness, and her salvation burns like a torch.”

Hebrews 12:22-23 (AMP) — “But you have come to Mount Zion and to the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to myriads of angels [in festive gathering], and to the general assembly and church of the firstborn who are registered [as citizens] in heaven.”

Revelation 21:2-3 (AMP) — “And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband... ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them.’”

Psalm 137:5-6 (AMP) — “If I forget you, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget [its skill and its ability]. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not prefer Jerusalem above my chief joy.”

What It Means to Be Brought to Jerusalem:

· It means coming into the place of worship. Jerusalem is the city of the Temple. To be brought there is to be brought into a deeper place of praise, adoration, and encounter with God.

· It means entering the place of peace. The name Jerusalem means "City of Peace" (Yerushalayim). God is calling you into His Shalom, His perfect wholeness.

· It means aligning with God's purposes. Jerusalem is at the center of God's redemptive plan for the earth. Praying for it means aligning your heart with His heart for the nations.

· It means looking forward to the Heavenly Jerusalem. Ultimately, we are citizens of the New Jerusalem, the city that comes down from heaven. Our journey on earth is a pilgrimage toward our eternal home.

A Prayer to Be Brought to Jerusalem:

"Lord,

Bring us to Jerusalem.

Bring us to the place of Your presence.

Bring us to the place of Your peace.

Bring us to the place of true worship.

Bring us to the place where Your name dwells.

We lift our eyes to the hills—

where does our help come from?

Our help comes from You, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Bring us to Mount Zion,

to the city of the living God.

Let our feet stand within Your gates.

Let us enter Your courts with thanksgiving and Your gates with praise.

Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, Lord.

Let those who love her prosper.

Let peace be within her walls and prosperity within her palaces.

For the sake of our brothers and sisters, let us say, 'Peace be within you.'

We are pilgrims on a journey,

looking for a city whose architect and builder is God.

We are citizens of the heavenly Jerusalem.

And we long for the day when we will walk her streets of gold,

where You will wipe every tear from our eyes.

Until that day,

bring us to a deeper place of worship.

Bring us to a deeper place of peace.

Bring us to the place where You are.

Bring us to Jerusalem.

In Jesus’ name,

Amen."
